ORIGINAL: PapiKink Does it not seem to anyone else that the bdsm lifestyle runs so contrary to the concept of Christianity? Care to 'splain yourself and what the BDSM lifestyle means to you, because I get the distinct impression that you feel WIITW[/You]D is sinful and shameful, that having kinky desires is in direct violation of your conscience, or whatever it is you ascribe to Christ-based codes of morality. If so, then your incongruent perceptions may stem from your own sexual hang-ups, internalized guilt complexes, and possibly retroactive feelings of remorse. I have no such qualms in embracing a healthy sexuality comprised of sensually erotic elements, which can be therapeutically cathartic in nature for both my (exclusive) partner & myself. More importantly, I am not a *slave* to my ego, as I see so many people are from all walks of life. In this alternative lifestyle, I am not a *slave* to my fetishes and kinks and am not attracted to intimate partners who are *slaves* to theirs. No cognitive dissonance here. Unless you are not a man of your word, or else you opportunistically seek to "get over" on others like the typical vanilla-styled sociopathic degenerate, or are otherwise conducting yourself in an unethical manner, I do not see what you are getting at.
