Okay, I finally broke down and watched 'Cloud Atlas.' Short of a birth mark (even on a clone which should not have been possible) what the fuck is the link between all the damn time jumping scenes? Hell I had a problem reading the book "Slaughter House 5" and watching the movie for the same damn reasons. The movie starts with Tom Hanks telling a story to his grandkids, which evidently is the basis for the whole thing, but honestly after that I was lost. Hell I watched it three times and was worse off than after the first time. To get my mind back on even keel, I watched Deadpool. My favorite scene in Deadpool is when Colossus is embarrassed at Angel Dust's boob hanging out, and tells her, to which she responds "that's so sweet" then promptly punches him in the balls. Goes to show that chivalry can get a guy hurt. Now, to continue on the topic of Deadpool, since Morena Baccarin was in the movie, I feel that Nathan Fallon should have made an appearance as well. My night of home movie viewing continued with "The Last Witch Hunter." Good movie, but to be honest, Vin Diesel rarely does a bad movie, but then I kind of enjoy wanton destruction. Anyway, back to Cloud Atlas. Can someone tell me how Tom Hanks could tell a story about a bunch of people that was born before him and never met? These folks didnt even make it to the history books, although by the time that Tom Hanks character telling the story was born, there were no history books left. Is it some sort of genetic memory he is telling?
