I think wanting to be "broken" is a dynamic too.

It's like any dynamic with any sub. Especially when it comes to pain application or going the distance to see how much she can take.

Some wants their limits to be pushed constantly to breaking point, and then they wanna try again to see if they can go further.

Some don't like the dynamic to be like that.

End of the day, it's communicating expectations with each other and hopefully be able to interprete correctly what each other needs and fulfill each other needs.

Breaking bad habits to avoid drama and general dysfunction are useful.

If not,you get a basket case,not a sub.

"Breaking" isn't about bad habits. It's about forced submission. Ie: The continual application of training until the subject gives up. I grew up training horses and the horses that were taught to want to please were always superior to the horses that were ground down and forced.

I disagree. Without getting into too many semantic arguments-it's still possible to use a term to relate to a positive conditioning process. Your choice of attachment is probably not universal.

Except that you're probably the only person who defines it this way.
You want to be Humpty Dumpty and have a word mean what you want it to mean, great.

But you need to understand that by doing that, nobody else understands you.

For the rest of us breaking is considered to be Stockholm Syndrome type stuff. Severe abuse that causes psychological damage. In people and animals.
