Greta75 -> Challenges of managing terrorists in prison in Islamic Nations (7/29/2016 2:35:36 AM)

What was pretty interesting news that I read is how radical potential terrorist in jail, can successfully convert 7 Muslim prison wardens into their ideology of supporting ISIS.

For all denials that this is an Islamic problem. Fact is, only Muslims are susceptible. I would like to see how they convince a Christian or an Atheist to support ISIS.

Islamic teachings are on their side. Or else, how can they possibly successfully influence these good Muslims to become more radical?

While it seems that Malaysia solution now is to isolate all potential terrorists detainees from other prisoners, but that still does not address the problem of how to stop them from converting more prison wardens.

I saw a documentry on the formation of ISIS. Interestingly, their originator started recruitment from Guantanamo and started his radicalizing from there. He was released for good behaviour and the Muslims in the prison respected him and followed him and obeyed him, so he was seen as helping the prison to keep all the terrorist prisoners in order, but they were silently plotting their release so they can leave and form ISIS together. That's how it all begin.

If Malaysia doesn't monitor their own military and police forces, they might have ISIS supporters from within going up against them.

Announcing the detection of the seven radicalised wardens, Datuk Seri Zahid, who is also Home Minister, said: "I know that this is news which will make everyone feel uncomfortable. However, this is not something we can deny... We have addressed this problem."

Malaysia has been battling a rise of militancy among its citizens, including those who swore loyalty to terrorist group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
