Even if he was telling the truth...so, what? That and $4 will get you a latte at Starbucks.

The purpose of grocery lists is that you can make awesome meals without having to plan ahead.

For example, because I routinely make sure there is flour, yeast, garlic and butter in this house, last night I decided to make a batch of garlic bread sticks. They disappeared in seconds. Without requiring a trip to the store at the last minute.

ilovestarbucks -> RE: Why Aren't Women More Like Men In This Respect? (9/9/2016 11:30:39 PM)

I did learn some things from this thread, but mostly from the emails I received.

1. Women who want to have their fetishes fulfilled, without a relationship, have just as hard times as men finding a partner.
2. Men will lie and say anything in order to fulfill their fetishes.
3. So a woman can find a casual man who promises to fulfill her fetishes but in reality, he is only interested in fulfilling his.

Here in the UK his Starbucks would be as weak as his arguments too [:D]

This has been how it always seemed to me. I have never in my life spoken to a woman who said, "Oh yeah, I find excellent relationship partners (for any role) like they're falling off trees".

If we presume a theoretical woman who just wants any old cock in her then yes, women have an easier time of it then men. I just haven't ever met that woman.

OK, I don't know who was writing to you but I have to tell you that some of this just isn't my experience. I'm going to take two things away from number one. Those being a fetish that is extreme and not being in a place (real time) where people are openly engaging in kink. Darn near any person with female bits can walk into kink club/event X and manage to get her kink on. I've never even heard of a female that ever went to a swingers event that did not get laid if that's what she went there to do. Pick up play just isn't that difficult for a woman to orchestrate.

Number two I'd probably give you if we're talking more about the internet. It' way easier for a person, let's say, for example a married person with an unsuspecting spouse, to create a profile on a site like this, hoping to find kink/sex, as opposed to somebody being involved with their local kink community week after week.

As to number three, yeah, I'd probably go with more men using that angle than women. I know way more male tops than female ones that are best described as pseudo service tops because, hey, boobies. I know a couple of guys in the spanko scene who aren't doing it for the administering the spanking part. It's more about rubbing the naked woman's ass. There are some tops out there who kind of service top, tolerate the play, because doing that leads to the after care, kind of cuddle type time. Curling up to the naked woman is what they really wanted in the first place. Way more common than some people think.

You know, you do have a point there and I try to pick up those things anyway, but isn't there always a store open somewhere now if you have the munchies or want to stock up on some single item. Groceries seem to pre-define ones choices before all the options are explored.

You go into a supermarket with a predefined notion of what you'll buy and you do not bother looking for something else.
After work this can be a good thing but most people do their big shopping on a weekend and so would have some time to instead just wander around.

One good thing about grocery lists though is, I must admit, the fact that you know how much you'll buy ahead of time.
I often end up buying a bit more than I had planned I would need and if I forget to get one of the strollers I end up looking and feeling like some sort of Food-Santa bringing people edible presents. I tend not to want to pick up the stroller at the start because I Do not want to induce myself into overshopping...but ya, obviously that happens anyway.

Women are luckier because they can and do get emotional connections with both genders so...

Don't generalize. Not all women are bisexual.

Women have been bred over the millions of years to have a whore mentality. Just today on Facebook my cousin - a woman - liked a picture that said "A well tailored suit is to women what lingerie is to men." It's true. Lingerie sexually objectifies women. Well Tailored suits financially objectify men. Women want money, men want sex. Women want rich men, men was hot women. Even on here, women supposedly claiming to be slaves saying "you have to EARN my submission." Why? YOU should have to fucking EARN my dominance! These women are whoring out their submission. Women want their wedding ring - it's the symbol of their worth, how much they can whore themselves for. Women want financial security. Well you know what? Men want financial security too, but they dont' go around picking their mates based on her income do they? they don't judge their sons wives by how much money she makes, they want their sons to have a hot wife. Women judge their son in laws by how much money they make. They want their daughters to be successful whores.

Women are hardwired to be whores. Vanilla women, kinky women. Don't let them tell you they want some emotional connection. If they did, they wouldn't be wetting their panties over the buff stud. They'd be fucking that really nice guy with the fat gut but the heart as big as the world. Nope, only if that guy with the fat gut and the big heart has a fat pocketbook to go with it.

I'm guessing your mother didn't love you enough, hence you have such a shitty mentality. What's the matter, sport? Even the hookers turn you down?

Our women need to see the inner whore and reject it for their inner slave .

I don't know what drugs you're main lining, smoking, snorting or swallowing, but you need to put them down and understand that women aren't on this planet to service men.

Hop a time machine and go back to the 1950's. [8|]

Quite a lot of people have a shopping list because they aren't so flush with money that they can spend willy-nilly on frivolous items they might not use later.

We have one so we can plan meals and make sure it comes within budget.
It often comes to choosing one meal over something else because the budget won't stretch that far.
There's nothing more irritating or embarassing than to get to the checkout and find you don't have enough to pay for what you've selected.
And of course, you only spend what you need or can afford.

Oh that later thing has happened to me lol. It's not that embarrassing... once it has happened like 5 times in the same shop xD This was over several months though.

I mean don't get me wrong. I can also just stand there and consider whether Ill buy Rice or roast Potatoes, if Im having dinner with someone Ill think a little bit how I can surprise them and what not .
It is not really a cost issue.

I don't waste food or try not to at least and so if you end up buying a bit more you tend to have a bit more for a while.
Im a bigger sucker for farmers markets. Real, fresh veggies, meat and cheese but it doesn't last long in your fridge so...

how do you...."roast potatoes" yes completely out of left field, but I love roast potatoes, but I find people have different definitions to mine:)

I am also confused over the terminology of these things but what I tend to mean is putting them into the oven. But whether you fry them or oven them it's always good to precook them a bit, depends on the potato sort, I'm no mr potatoe tho should consult with an expert instead:

In reply to the OP - pretty sure that there was a song in "My Fair Lady" that asked the same question - and a lot more succinctly. Something along the lines of why can't a woman be more like a man.....
