My understanding is that by definition, sensory deprivation does not allow you to feel stimulation through any senses. That includes touch.

Just covering eyes and ears is a different matter. And I'm quite aware that when one or more senses are lost, the remaining ones tend to be heightened. I'm still not interested.

Step one: insert foam earplugs in the ears of a freshly shaved sub.
Step two: place hood over said sub. My preferred type is like a 'batman' mask: leaves his beautiful mouth free, and ears and eyes covered, with a padded brow which permits space over the eyes so he can wear it a long, long, LONG time.
Step three: enjoy!
Step four: find the same hood with handles!

Love my hood, I use my hood for my own purposes. Putting on my leather hood and snapping on the blindfold allows me to just let go and fly all on my own. Using hoods on subs can be fun when I want them to just fly as well. I don't use them on all my subs but tend to save hood play for partners I've been playing with for a long while.

I have leather, latex, and multiple spandex hoods as well. My favorite though is my Israeli army issue gas mask. Gotta love it..

I have tried hoods and the feeling of helplessness is unlike anything i have felt before. It takes a tremendous amount of trust to allow me to be so vulnerable, and if left alone, I believe it could take me to a happy place. I have been told it can be very relaxing, like waking up from a long sleep. It is difficult at first, I can deal with all but the gag. The downside is if some play is involved in addition to the bondage, it is very difficult for the Dominant to read the sub as they can not see their facial reaction.
