BS, I mixed up the CA case with this one in regards to the taser. Use your head. They were there after somwone else. That had higher priority they dealt with it. Now would you wait untill the guy you were there to serve a warrent on was taken care of, or not as it turned out not taken care of to put your vest on? Since your narrative doesn't even mention the other case we seem to have a serious case of projection.

As it turns out, you seem to be as confused as the rest of us about what you are actually trying to say. You said the police had their vests on to arrest someone else, not Scott. The police report said the opposite. Your incoherent babbling above has to do with ... who knows what. Not even you can figure it out, so don't expect anyone else to fathom it.

No...in fact, you noted that they went back to waiting for their suspect. It wasn't until he displayed/brandished the gun that they confronted him. So why are you trying to deflect it to something...the blunt...that their own report says they didn't care two shits about?

If you listen to the video (one of them, I forget which) One of the cops tells another to go into the trunk of his car and get his "equipment." After that in the time line a gun appears on the street pavement. I wonder . . . .

Then they went backto deal with him. You may not be aware of this but firearm + drugs, even weed, is a felony. When he finally got out of his truck. Though you and ML don't seem to understand this, brandishing a gun when the police are trying to ask you questions isn't legal, even in a open carry state. After repeatedly refusing to drop the gun , and only after repeatedly being told to, he was shot. Why is it that anti gun people always overstate what you can legally do with a gun? Was that simple enough for you?

Despite repeated commands to stop and to drop the weapon...commands also noted by civilian witnesses...Scott refused to do so. The gun has been shown to belong to Scott (it wasn't planted).

It is easy to presume they both got their information from the same feed, like the AP or Reuters. That's how journalism works. Which begs the question: if the coppers were there to serve a warrant or arrest another dude why did they divert from their assigned task, leave, and go back to accost a man who was sitting peacefully in his van? How did they perceive he was a risk to anyone in an open carry state? Just the technicality that he had a gun, if he did, in conjunction with a blunt.
