I find sometimes that I'm compelled to click the "View Full Profile" button when I see something in the first few lines that I think is ridiculous. Does anyone else do that?

I needed a third option for "I used to". I did use to read men's profiles there, and what I read, that glimpse into their minds and characters, so appalled and horrified and disillusioned me that I have lost all interest in meeting anyone here, or anywhere else kink-connected. Really a disheartening experience but I guess I did need to see who is really out there.

I do sometimes, but not via the "View full profile" link.

I c/p the user ID and use the search feature and read most of it (and the journal entries) on the preview screen in the search.
Only if it captures my interest do I bother looking further at the other bits in their profile.
That way, I avoid showing up on their "Who's viewing me" list.

I do it fairly often, and the ones I cherish are the truly funny ones (intended or not).

My all-time favorite was the young dom who wrote that any female subs who contacted him better not be so fat that if they sat on the other end of a teeter-totter from him, he would be shot into outer space.

Not anymore...ha!

If I find someone who gets my *attention* by their posts, and I find them very interesting...I will look at their profile.

I could care less if I show up on their *I viewed you* list...

I`m not looking to hook up with anyone...

There are some amazing people, who have a lot of experience and wisdom... that hang out here from time to time.

When I reply to an op so, i never misspell their name I click on profile copy and paste
osidegirl - lets see if I got that correct - twere a fluke i was swithering outisde

I have read almost no good profiles of value - to be fair most of the "women's profiles on here" are men and most men to be socks or lacking in a modicum of truisms and many money parasites of a value that would not worry zero. I expect more

Perhaps the fault lies with me.

I actually laugh at most profiles, then I get annoyed, then irked at the many.

Well for instance - a profile of man that says he's very wealthy and successful has a picture of a Bugati Veyron in front of a mansion......neither of which are his. The photo is wall paper available from Bugati motors.

I look at more profiles now than I used to. Some people I know and I recognize from the early years when these boards were very different than they are now. Some I check out because I am trying to figure out who they are. Some are just plain crazy.

I do, or at least I used to until I had already read most of the profiles that were coming up on the home page. I haven't done that in a while actually so there's bound to be some newer ones now that might be quite amusing.

As a general rule, no. What I do, to while away the many hours I spend awake sometimes, is hide profiles on the other side. Some really do need hiding because they are Eeewwww, but mostly it's just because I can.

Reading them for entertainment certainly beats reading them because you're on the pull.

Hello,
I read the profiles here to find how many of the slaves profiles say the same thing. Next I am now seeing so many slaves that have been left hordes of money from Masters that passed away. Of course to own her you have to be able to get her money.
Second thing is in their profiles is "a company will deliver her, so do not pick up", I don't know of any company that does that. Does she come crated up, a box, maybe a cage. I sure as hell hope no " assembly required" is not labeled on it. Lol.

There's the whole "my profile and all these pictures (even the ones I stole from Suicide Girls and Blue Blood) are mine, and I'll take anybody to court who tries to use either for academic or commercial purposes" as well: I love that one.

I do out of curiosity, and sometimes for amusement. It is amazing how often that is misconstrued as a sign of my wanting to pursue a relationship with someone. It isn't at all. I am equally likely to read the profiles of female dominants, male dominants, female submissives, and male submissives, even though I'd only be interested in a relationship with a very small segment of the male submissive population.

I'll have to check out that way of viewing profiles without showing up on someone's "Who's Viewed Me" list :)

For entertainment, no. About the only profile looking I do is if I think certain parts of information are going to be helpful in relation to whatever they are asking on the forums. Something like where they live if they are asking about kink events in their area or whatever. Even then, I don't read the full profile all that often.

There are profiles that I will put on hide without reading the full thing at all. If those first few sentences or the primary pic that pops up is something I don't want to see, that's enough.
