Let's keep in mind that all of us have, for years, seen politicians promise one thing at election time and do something else after the back room meetings. Both sides are equally guilty. This year, the republican voters told the republican political hierarchy no more. They cast aside all of the professional politicians. Sure, they found an imperfect vessel. But, on the other hand, the party of Occupy Wall Steet against the 1 percenters have nominated a card carrying unabashed 1 percenter. It's a shame and it shows that they want power more than they want to fix the system. My personal choice is the flawed vessel rather than the status quo with back room deals that only enrich the 1 percent. Frankly, that's too bad. I've much more sympathy for the occupiers now then when they were being dicks in public. But, it seems they've all gone away now anyway.

I'm 90% sure that the OWS people were with Sanders all the way. They didn't win, but that doesn't mean they're hypocrites.

And the idea of Trump being a self-made people's champion is laughable. Just because he's the most incompetent candidate in history instead of a handpicked professional doesn't mean the GOP voters actually knew what they were doing. In fact, it actually means they need to take a good hard look in the mirror... which of course they aren't prepared to take.

At some point in his life he apparently discovered that there are a lot of submissive women out there who crave a powerful man who will take what he wants. Why that should shock, or even surprise, anyone here is beyond me. Personally, I think his apology was genuine and reflects the fact that he is not comfortable with some of the things he's said and done. I could say the same. Is there anyone here who can't?
