Republicans always do what the Koch brothers tell them, right? Not this time.

The Koch brothers are taking on a proposed border tax that could crop up in the Republican plan for a monumental tax overhaul, arguing that such a tax would hurt American motorists by leading to a spike in gasoline prices.

Well aside from the great chance that any repub directly on the Koch payroll as it were, yes, that politician will always do what the Koch bros. want, but they haven't 'bought' everybody.

But rest assured that those repubs on the taxing committee will take a very hard critical look the this tax proposal specifically to see not what it can do for against the country and not what it might for or against international trade and jobs in the US but.....how it effects the Kock bros. industries.

After all as Charles Keating (of S & L criminal infamy) once reminded us, in so many words...plutocrats aren't plutocrats unless they get what they pay for.
