Status: offline 		And as far as my belief I just feel that if they can choose to be with a consenting adult and find gratification sexually and Then still seek out to harm children they are a bit more sick and should be called something else but I'm not a doctor I don't get to make up the labels and terms I just feel how I feel about them

Few things bother me, those two words together bother me..so I looked it up to see if it was a real thing - far as i can see it is not...yes that forum on that other place really, really bothers me......still going that forum I presume *sad face

If any place found it offensive I would have thought it would be in Germany. But evidently not. The German's enjoy their kink. And I have to say, A nurse in a shiny black long sleeve dress, shiny black stockings, white white rubber pinafore, white and black rubber nurse cap, and red and black rubber arm swastika is a very hot scene!

Status: offline 		In summary- there is not a complete consensus in the kink community that "your kink is not my kink but your kink is okay".

There are things that are recognized as kink, such as raceplay, but because of the emotional triggers involved, would still be uncomfortable for some kinksters. Raceplay is only one example, there are others.

There are also subjects that can be argued to technically meet the definition of kink, but because of longstanding moral, legal, consent, etc issues are not normally accepted as "kinks", but rather unacceptable perversions and are widely disavowed by kink communities.

The question becomes, if you accept that "your kink is not my kink but your kink is okay", how far are you willing to go to adhere to that, understanding that there are people out there who will (and do) label what they do as "kink" and expect to be accepted?

Or something like that.

This is an extreme form of the argument, but one we have had on the boards before, when it comes to seeing things that we are uncomfortable with in the community, perhaps abusive relationships disguised as kink, yet we don't speak up because YKINMK.

It is a "bigger picture" argument involving the OP topic of raceplay, as well as others, but meanders a bit from the specific questions the OP had in seeking answers.

I doubt it, at least not in the way that we think about it. In our society we often think of pedophilia in terms of age of consent, meaning specific age ranges as defined by laws. Religious teachings don't normally address that. Some religions do address 'coming of age' rituals and such, and they may conflict with what current laws define an adult as. But in that context, the religion recognizes the individual as an adult at that point, not a child, so it wouldn't be seen as pedophilia, even if a legal code did.

Actually almost all of them do, they almost all have rules regarding the age at which marriage or sex is acceptable, though you usually have to dig deep into some pretty obscure writings to find it (most religions are reluctant to address questions of sexuality openly and directly for some reason - you would think it would be otherwise, but it's not).

Status: offline 		At the time major religions began, life expectancy hovered in the 30s. As such marriage and child bearing was done much earlier.

I was 35 when my first child was born. 6000 years ago I probably would have died far before that.

Being ready for 'sex' is independent of puberty. Puberty is the body undergoing changes to be able to reproduce sexually. However, puberty is a stage, it is a process, not an event. The onset of puberty, or 'hitting puberty', is the ability to sexually reproduce. However, that does not mean that the body is prepared for the entire process of it. Throughout history mortality rates of women during childbirth were high, as were infant mortality rates. Just because a girl has started menstruating, which many associate as the point when puberty hits for girls, doesn't mean that her body is physically ready to carry a child to term and give birth. During the years that puberty encompasses skeletal changes such as widening of hips happen, which facilitates childbirth. Growing breasts for breastfeeding doesn't happen overnight. Growth of the uterus isn't complete and even though menstruation has occurred, ovulating may not happen for several more months.
