WickedsDesire -> Theresa May under pressure over Trident missile test (1/22/2017 11:50:57 AM)

Fair peed my pantaloons.

Theresa May is coming under pressure to say whether she knew about a reported misfire of the UK's nuclear weapons system before a crucial Commons vote.

She is empress of the UK - behold her magnificence and weaselness – there is no depth of depravity those Englanders will not vote for..oh wait, she wasn’t voted in she replaced the idiot called Cameron, a festering liar, who resigned after you Englanders went BREXIT on us all.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38711418

clip 1.33 I give you the leader of the UK, another liar....not nearly as fuking mental as the one called Trump

...after you Englanders went BREXIT on us all.

Not just us Englanders.
The vote went across all four countries, from coast to coast.

You scots have to acknowledge that you are a minority as part of the club called "UK".
The majority voted out. Live with it.

And if good olde Henry was on the throne, your head would be on the block for your comments.
Thank your lucky stars that James 6th joined England and we changed the laws to allow free speech.

Well FD this is why i dont do UK threads....do you believe most are trapped within their own gold fish bowls? And the American jackals to be the worst offenders, even worse that you englanders?

That aside remind me how our four nations voted?

(At least remember to capitalise the word 'Scots', FD!)

Just like the UK is a minority as part of the club called the EU. The UK voted to get out of the EU ... and now Scotland is talking again of a vote to get out of the UK. All part of the same theme.

WickedsDesire -> RE: Theresa May under pressure over Trident missile test (1/22/2017 12:46:52 PM)

I always thought we were a country.

Didn't they, the lying shitbags of englanders: a race of the meek, warped, deranged, racist s,scum of the earth sorts, and particular feeble of brain, bested only by American jackals insane with the rabies, in conjugation with all their warped press fight the Scottish Independence vote on that you will not be a member of the EU dear Scotland?

Any of you two deranged fukwits like to disagree?

Only the scots voted in the independence referendum - nobody else.
So the defeat of it was down to you lot over the border.
Most of the media coverage was monitoring things as they happened.
All the pontificating advertising and rallies were all done north of the wall.
You only have yourselves to blame; you can't blame us, the welsh, or northern Ireland.

Meek? Is that why we kicked your asses in every skirmish from 937 to 1746? [:D]

If Scotland wants to go it alone, I wouldn't mind one way or the other.
But bear in mind, Westminster has give approval for you to hold a referendum and Salmond blew it big time in 2014.
North Sea Oil is running out.
Sturgeon doesn't want Trident on Scottish soil - big revenue and many jobs lost if we leave.
The UK won't have military ships built outside of the UK - many more jobs and revenue would be lost.
Without UK/EU subsidies, Scotland couldn't afford to go it alone; it'll go broke.
Then of course, you'll be stuck with the Euro and most EU countries aren't growing anywhere near as fast as the UK.

How long do you think Scotland would last on its own as an independent sovereign nation?
Not very long me thinks.

Be careful what you wish for.

31 Billion for 4 subs ? Looks like the feed bag is on...a real profit center. Doesn't everybody need nuke subs ? Probably at least 40 billion before they are done.

And that's without even getting into the fact that almost the whole of Scotland voted SNP during the last general election, then had the nerve to complain about Cameron being re-elected. As Milliband said at the time: if they wanted a Labour government, they should have voted Labour. Of course, having a Conservative government in power suits the Scots tendency to mistake whining about the English for a political philosophy, and lets the SNP scapegoat Westminster for everything they aren't competent to do a decent job of in Hollyrood. They'd apparently much rather be able to continue doing that than have a Labour government with a left leaning leader in power.
You don't see the fucking Welsh carrying on like this, do you?

Well, the Welsh do moan about a lot of things happening in Westminster.
But nowhere near as much as Hollyrood and Nicola Sturgeon.

She still thinks she can pull strings to keep Scotland in the EU and the single market.
She can't grasp the simple facts that -
1) Scotland has to be a democratic and independent sovereign nation to qualify; that is an EU basic law,
2) Given that they've recently had a referendum (and lost), I can't see Westminster granting another one quite so soon.
3) They can't just 'switch' to being a member on the back of being in it as part of the UK; they'll have to apply for membership independently of the UK and they can't do that if they don't meet the minimum criteria.

Apart from the obvious obstacles, Scotland will (by necessity) have to drop using the pound and adopt another currency until they get accepted into the EU because the Bank of England has categorically stated they will not be allowed to use our currency if they go independent.
It isn't going to be a slam-dunk foregone conclusion that Scotland can just step into the EU if/when they get their independence - it's going to take a long time, maybe years.

I sometimes wonder if some politicians have any working grey cells or common sense.

Laughable stuff. Many Scots live in England and vice versa, unless you have an exact list, neither you or FD have a valid point.

We have a democracy and voted out, enough said, despite the remoaners harping on about it.

I think rather than stupidity in Sturgeon's case, it's an assumption that her electorate will swallow any drivel she comes out with, so long as she blames everything bad in Scotland on the bastard English as often as possible.
One of the main issues with the current demands for independence is that there isn't a single national bank, which is something the EU makes quite an issue of: instead there's three separate banks who get to print currency (hilariously, one of these banks was one of the biggest recipients of the UK tax payer bail out in '08).
This issue is an even bigger problem than the fact that the economic model Salmond proposed back in '14 is no longer functional; since the problems with "Scotland"'s oil industry emerged, not one word has been spoken about how a bunch of American businesses pumping oil and money out of the UK off the North Sea coast is supposed to be able to support a viable economy.
