Actually the whole department should not exist. The only role the US government has is to set the standard for what constitutes a HS diploma, and that includes evolution so backward states tough shit. That way these colleges won't eed remedial classes in math and English.

There is no way. The system has already been destroyed. You would have to take the students all the way back to kindergarten and get them to unlearn a bunch of stuff, like the mating habits of the tse tse fly and other claptrap like that.

That is not the goal here. They want them to follow sports, pay $350 to see a football game, but a huge TV set, get used to a lower and lower standard of living and be so fucking stupid that they cannot even read the Constitution. In this country, many public school districts spend more per pupil, with the usual dismal results. One day, I forsee the better colleges just having their own entrance exams and simply disregarding the HS diploma. They will have no choice unless they want to go into all these remedial programs, or maybe set up a summer school. When you got four years to teach something, you can't spend half of it teaching them how to read, like their, there and they're. That is third grade level shit and HS grads do not know it.
So the people with money will continue to put their kids in private schools and there will continue to be two classes. Personally I think homeowners should get a rebate on their taxes if they don't send any kids to public schools. In fact I believe that only homeowners should be allowed to vote on property taxes.
If I owned rental property I would tell the tenants straight out that any property tax increases will be reflected in the rent. What's more, if their lease doesn't come up soon it will be rated to get my money back in the next year, and it is NEVER going down.
We had that shit in a place called North Royalton, Ohio. They kept holding special elections all through the year. People could not get off work to vote against tax levies for frivolous things, let alone a bloat-budget, not really great school system.
As a result, people are stuck there because they can't sell their house. You go through the real estate listing and see the taxes on property and pass it right on by. And then this poor slob in East Cleveland has the joy of living in a historical district. a single house, good size one but still just a single and they got funny rules there about who you can let stay there so you are not allowed to take on boarders,
$12,000 a year.
I the old days the townspeople would hire a teacher from the big city, build a schoolhouse and be done with it. The government has no obligation to educate anyone, they just do it figuring you will pay taxes later.
Get this Greta, EVERYTHING the government here does is to make the government more power and money. A few things they seem to do for the people are done to make themselves look good to keep people from having a revolt.
You know, that is another thing. People think a revolt is to march up there with guns blaring. But there are other ways. I believe it was the Jews who invented boycotting. Must be effective because they don't like BDS.
Well, people can go on an austerity program, and they should. No going to any sports games or movies. No more having the latest phone. No more restaurants. You go to work, you cook your own food, teach the kids how to read. Absolutely nothing non-essential.
It is going to happen anyway when people run out of credit. You think the national debt is high ? Take a look at consumer debt.
Then they can wallow in the shit they created. Let the useless movie and music industries go completely broke. Let the NFL go broke. Fucking idols, busted with drugs, on drugs, a mayor in a crackhouse. Fuck these people and the limo they rode in on.
I already do none of this. I haven't seen a new movie in decades, and when I do catch part of one it is totally un-, well it is worthless. The few things I'll watch are either 30 years old or reality TV ad I am not too fond of the latter. and what they call music is total shit.
I don't fly any flags, I don't have any writing or even symbols on my shirts. I see someone wearing a Tommy Hilfiger shirt I have to laugh. the fucking moron just paid big bucks to advertise for some rich SOB using slave labor and charging $40 for a fifty cent Tshirt. And the blacks and the wiggers with the pants way down. don't they realize that you can't kick or run in those ? but then it is mostly them dumb enough to commit crimes wearing those light up tennis shoes.

The government will run out of credit soon. they say the military will support the government but that remains to be seen once those checks don't come through and they don't get fed. Meantime the generals will get fed. They will notice that. And they will get the idea that the old GI bill for their education and new house they can't really afford is evaporated. If you know good kids in the US, drill it into their heads to stay away from the military and if they get drafted go to Canada. Now the punks, tell them to enlist.
