This is interesting. I found the Chinese perspective map particularly interesting, and why Taiwan is such a big deal for them.

It really is. All of them are interesting, but this one really brings home how the South China Sea and Taiwan are key elements in a cage of US allies surrounding Beijing, and I can see how this is a non-negotiable item for them.

I'm always fascinated how a map from a different perspective can really highlight a different story.
