During the war Dresden was a communications hub in the middle Germany. At the time of the bombing around one million inhabitants--largely refugees--were gathered in the city.

According to a police report prepared shortly after the bombing: 12 000 homes, 24 banks, 26 insurance buildings, 31 department stores, 647 shops, 2 market halls, 31 large hotels, 26 public buildings, 63 administrative buildings, 3 theaters, 18 cinemas, 11 churches, 6 Chapels, 5 cultural-historical buildings, 19 hospitals, 39 schools, 5 consulates, 1 zoo, 1 water facility , 1 railway station, 19 postal buildings, 4 tram buildings, 19 ships and barges were destroyed.

Surprisingly, the Luftwaffe base in Klotzsche eight kilometers from the city was not hit by a single bomb.

4. 1945 Eberhard Matthes was responsible for determining the number of victims. In total Eberhard Matthes counted 253,000 dead resulting from the Dresden massacre.

In order to perform the holocaust ritual a healthy living body must be burned alive to ash. hitler did not do that, he cremated bodies after they died from typhus etc, but the zionists in fact did have the holocaust and burned over 235,000 healthy living german noncombatants, which precisely fits the requirements of the holocaust sacrificial ritual. Never deny the holocaust it was real, however it was the germans who were the victims.

I can't believe that you have implicated Pingu of all people in the Holocaust.

But then I can't believe a BDSM message board has managed 83 pages of this.

There was a Holocaust. Huge numbers of Jews and died along with other people the Nazis felt were not worthy human beings. It was one of the most significant events of the twentieth century with consequences that are still affecting the world now. Trying to deny or minimise the significance of such horrific events by questioning variations between different accounts of death tolls is poor history and driven by dubious motivations. Nuff said.

I'm with WhoreMods and the Pingu pic. I love that penguin but I never entirely understand him. Seems like a poignant metaphor for a world in which we just never fully appreciate or understand our fellow humans.

As far as the number issues go, if conspiracy boy feels that he's justified in claiming twenty times the normal death toll for Dresden, then maybe the holocaust can be similarly inflated from 4-6 million to 80 to 120 million as well? The whole point of right leaning historians fiddling evidence and lying to inflate the civilian death toll at Dresden is to to try to make the systematic execution of civilians that was going on in the concentration camps look a bit less reprehensible by comparison after all.

longwayhome, maybe we could just post a pingu picture instead of responding to conspiracy boy's blather whenever he starts in on this from now on? I was thinking the "raving hitler" gif for that, but Pingu's a lot nicer to look at, isn't he?
