The alt right is the lunatic crypto fascist elements that not even the rest of the American right want anything to do with: trailer trash white supremacists, armed camps full of people who've only ever read two books (Atlas Shrugged and the Old Testament - if they were smarter they'd realise that the two are at odds ideologically), hysterical antisemites who are terrified that the ZOG is going to inject their kids with mind control technology disguised as vaccines; self radicalised terrorists; other people like that. The sort of wannabe fascist that Mussolini and Hitler would have rounded up with the other special needs sorts and gassed, basically.
The alt left is properly members of the right who style themselves as being an alternative to the rightist mainstream, but don't want to share the same trough as the other swine. This Milo guy with the hair half of the board seems to be queer for, and the rest of the rightist presence in alternative media.
However, some of the rightists on here (naming no names) are insisting that the alt left is a lunatic fringe of the Democrat party, analogous to the alt right scumbags.
And obviously, in America, a liberal is anybody who doesn't vote Republican.
