Edwird -> Fox withraws name from henhouse guard nomination (2/17/2017 11:05:16 AM)

Andrew "Slave Wage King" Puzder has withdrawn his name from consideration for Secretary of Labor.

The ardent opponent of minimum wage who bitched mightily about having to pay overtime to his already underpaid workers was to have been in charge of the department that enforces minimum wage and overtime rules, worker safety rules, et al. His wife-beating and hiring of an undocumented worker as domestic servant seemed to have troubled even a number of republicans, and those libtard politically correct comrades at The National Review and Breitbart went all hissy fit about the non-doc servant ('You're not supposed to get caught, dammit!').

Not to worry, the majority of foxes nominated to guard their respective hen houses appear as though they will pass Senate muster, some of them having already hurdled the two-inch-high bar set before them. This was just a blip.

The fellow with 14 lawsuits against the EPA is likely to be confirmed today to 'run' that agency. One of former Oklahoma AG Scott Pruitt's efforts was to make no effort at all concerning action his AG predecessor had brought against chicken farmers dumping something unsavory into the river from that endeavor. The term "chickenshit lawyer" seems to appear being taken in the literal sense here by Pruitt. I wonder why? Maybe this.

"The job of a regulator," Pruitt said in his opening statement to the committee, is to "make things regular." (That's not a joke; he actually said that.) He certainly 'walks the walk' in that regard, his thinking that the color and consistency of rivers is the best way to ascertain that farm-raised chickens are indeed 'regular.'

And there's the US Treasury fellow who's already been confirmed. After 17 years of training and assiduous study in how to fleece the nation of its wealth and then performing fabulously in that capacity while working at Goldman Sachs, Steven Mnuchin set out on his own to become the "Foreclosure King". It's only proper that Goldman always has their guy as head of their personal national bank, AKA The US Treasury.

Lots more where that came from. More hen house guard positions, a solid line-up of foxes to fill them.

Here's the background music playing at the confirmation hearings.

Once in place ... Like the song says; "It's easy pickins' ".
