I am not sure I understand the question. It all depends on the variables involved in what you are looking for in a Ds relationship. If one is a lesbian, then obviously one will feel more safe in a Fem/fem relationship. If gender doesn't matter, it will depend on the individual who you are subbing to.

What are you looking for specifically?

While I've noticed some general differences in style between men and women, more importantly it's about finding the right fit as *people* not genders. Figure out what it is that you're looking for, and find a *person* that compliments your needs/wants.

perverseangelic -> RE: Fem/fem (4/12/2004 10:12:26 PM)

honestly, i don't think there is a gender-based set of benifits or drawbacks. i do notice differences in male/female styles of dominantion, but i notice just as many differences between individuals.

i think it boils down to who you find most attractive/interesting/whatever. i think each individual will have different traits and it's impossible to generalize by gender.

but then, i personally don't see gender as a reason to choose someone.

seattleminx -> RE: Fem/fem (4/13/2004 9:31:58 AM)

In my experience, no one gender (or lack of gender) lends itself to being a better Dominant.

IMO, the only variables I use when looking at a Ds partner are the following:

Intelligence, Imagination, Emotional maturity and some measure of aesthetics that appeal to me. Gender plays only a smaller role and only because I feel safer with women than I do men.

props to you for not being a dumbass and understanding the question.[;)]

Did you ever consider those who did not understand what you meant by your questions are not dumbasses and it could be just you were not clear? I find this statement by you extremely rude, and honestly feel you don't deserve any answers if that is the way think about those trying to help!

iwillserveu -> RE: Fem/fem (4/13/2004 3:55:59 PM)

confusingswede,

Well, dumbass, a male Dom has a penis. A female Domme doesn't. Do you prefer your Dominant partner to have a penis or do you not.

You want me to describe how men and women are different emotionally? When did you think Men understand women enough to comment and vice versa?

Frankly other than the penis bit anything anyone writes will get someone of the opposite gender saying, "You don't understand us at all!"

The penis bit is the only thing everyone will agree on, dumbass.

Oh, I agree with what Sandy said about insulting people trying to help you. (Just not as polite, dumbass.[:)])

Hey are you Iraqi and condone kidnapping Russian Electrical Engineers while you complain about the lack of electricity?[:)]

"Frankly other than the penis bit anything anyone writes will get someone of the opposite gender saying, "You don't understand us at all!" "

that's basically what i was trying to say.
and i'd actually argue with the idea that all male doms have penises and all female doms don't. :)

Store bought plastic penises don't count, lol.

Can a female dom pee through her penis?
Can a female dom's penis swell for delivery
Can a female dom's penis actually deliver?
Can a female dom give you a facial with her penis?

Any yes answer simply means she is not a female dom. [:D]

Could a TV/TG be a male domme? [;)]

I'm not calling anybody anything, aren't I being good!

"Could a TV/TG be a male domme?"

of course. :)

but i was talking about transexuals/asexuals/polysexuals mostly.
i -personally- believe that your gender is a matter of self-idenity and that external sex is pretty much incedental.

i have a friend who is biologically female, identifies male. goes by him. has no interest in a sex change, but considers himself male and acts and presents as a male. i'd consider him (were he interested in BDSM) a male dominant.

these are, of course, my opinions. i figure it's no skin of my nose whatever gender you pick, but when i get invovled with you, warn me about what plumbing i'll find :)

I used to have a dick that could ejaculate. Pudding worked well, though you could use a variety of "ejaculates". Good thing I'm just a happy sadomasochist and don't worry about whether or not anyone thinks I'm a female dom, hm?

Hmm....My "penis" does not do any of the above. It does not get soft when I want it hard. I do not have to have it in the locker room to measure it up with others.
