Of course there is a rational reason (Tory rational ...)
The impression that TM is negotiating for a no-longer-U-K should be avoided by all means.
The BBC link was interesting. There are also others about the forthcoming new Spain-Gibraltar border issue, but none about Tusk and his propositions about the forthcoming Irish border issue to be settled in a way not to impede the peace process in Ireland (anything from the Tories yet about that?) ... might be interesting if ... and if ... and if ... at some time a future independent Scotland might ever become/be a member state of the EU
