Sugar daddies and Sugar babies

Just watched a program about sugar daddies and sugar babies, meaning older and wealthy men and young women, where women get paid to be with them, mostly for sex, but sometimes also for companionship. Monthly allowance seems the norm, and many sugar babies use this to get through an education.

Questions:
They all claim this is not prostitution. If not, why? If it is, why?
Some last a long time. Does this matter?
Many claim they learn things from their sugar daddies, does this matter?
Is this a good way to get through education?
Is it demeaning, for either or both parties?

Because technically they are not being paid for sex any more than a wife is.

They meet on sites and meeting evenings and hammer out the details there. What is the difference?

Why is it still so 'normal' for women to sell their bodies to gain what they want or need? Why not work for it and gain it under your own steam?

Because 60 year old men wouldn't ever get a young girl's company, let alone access to her body, if they didn't pay for it.

Which brings up an interesting point. Why do you not blame these old men for sniffing around vulnerable young women?

I do not blame anone for anything. I just wonder why they do it, why anyone would have to do it, and why they keep saying that it isn't prostitution.

Oh that's easy. Patriarchal gender assumptions.

So they don't get arrested, duh.

Not so. Jeff Goldblum for example. Such a great guy (64) and killin it. He's charismatic, kind, wealthy, successful probably pretty good in the sack though... so not your average 60yo I grant you, but his current wife is super fit and 30years his junior.

Wealthy. So doesn't that make him a sugar daddy? You don't think if he were a broke nobody that he would still get some hot woman half his age?

You're proving my point.

So models who use their bodies to make money is not "normal" too?

To me, use whatever tools you have.

Like, would Taylor Swift or Katy Perry be as successful if they were not gorgeous? They used their body too. They aren't like Adele who can just use her voice.

If that is your gift, use it.

I personally think they putting up with a man much older than them, potentially unattractive, bossing them around is WORK!

It's the same as working in a normal job with a boss whom you don't really like but you need the job.

At this point of time, they need "THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY" and this is the fastest way to reach it.

From what I understand, many sugar babies denies having sex at all though. They just get paid for companionship. And the man interviewed, just wants to pay a pretty lady to be at his arm, because it makes him feels good and they are paying for that experience.

And as Dizzy said. Unless you are woman who is the breadwinner of your family. Most men do pay for their wives permanent company, literally.

Adele's body is beautiful as is her voice.
Also, prostitution is generally thought of as a short term P2P arrangement. Sugar/ mentor/ companionship involves a deeper commitment to the deal. Haven't men provided physical, mental and financial protection/benefits and mentorship for ages? I'm not discounting women who are independent in those respects but look at modern day 50's D/s relationships. Like as not you'll find the participants aren't married yet the woman young or old isn't thought of as a prostitute even though she's being "taken care of" and providing a service via her submission, housework, sex, etc. Why should sugar baby/ Daddy relationships be equated to prostitution? Both participants are getting a "leg up" in an agreed upon relationship. It's not like entering a brothel or shagging in the backseat on some dark street in old Red Hook and plopping cold hard cash down for a job well done that hopefully meets the CDC's approval.

Can't he'p ya here.

Some last a long time. Does this matter?

No. Not as long as they have fine titties.

Many claim they learn things from their sugar daddies, does this matter?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Education is NOT the prime directive.

Is this a good way to get through education?

Who gives a shit....so long as they have fine titties?

Is it demeaning, for either or both parties?

Yes....but the emotional pain only lasts for a short duration.

See above.

I'm so disappointed that this thread isn't about the candy.

When I was a kid I loved Sugar Daddy pops.
