First unapologetic about Yoga Pants ban. Now, he approves using of brute force to get rid of passengers in a flight where they need to bump off passengers to accommodate their own internal staff. What bullshit is this! So with Yoga Pants, they say, the staff aren't paying full price so they get lesser treatment. But what's his excuse to bloodying up a full fare paying passenger!

I agree on the alleged conservatism thing (have you noticed that the usual suspects are avoiding the other thread about this?), but beg to differ on your liberalism argument. That sounds plausible as a libertarian reading of what happened, but it's more an example of late capitalist contempt for a company's consumer base than anything else in practice. Staff are more important than the customer is the message this sends, and I doubt that liberals like Marx or Veblen would approve of that any more than anybody else does.

Staff can't possibly be more important than customers since they don't allow staff to wear comfortable yoga pants when travelling. What is going on is! When they fuck up! This dude got gangsta attitude like, "Fuck ya all! We didn't do anything wrong!" He got this mafia attitude!

Typically, the invention of 'that thing for free' is required to create the eternal false dynamic. (straw man) The spin is always based on life in the US, i.e., [we] are here to make some fucking money and pretty much should not give a fuck how we go about doing it.

Haven't seen anything about that yet, but the company's stock has taken a tumble, and that's always bad news for a CEO with shareholders to answer to.
