No thanks. I volunteered my services once before. I did some moderating on the boards as VideoAdminPi. Not a name anyone would recognize. Mostly I worked support, pictures and a few other areas which doesn't bare mention as it only involved inactive profiles.

Too much work.

Status: offline 		I have been enjoying the wide open almost anything goes format. It does allow us to blow off a little steam now and then without the fear of being banned. You and I have occasionally went after each other but we still exchange ideas now and then. Without all the regulations getting in the way it is far easier to get a true measure of a person.

We each have a choice... do we respond to negative posts and personal attacks or do we just ignore them and move on. Usually I just move on... To me a negative post is a victory because it just shows the poster cannot respond intelligently.

I am certainly not above negative posts but i do try to control them. I can only say in my defense that I usually use satire rather name calling but i am guilty of expressing my frustration.


So bottom line is I hope things stay the way they are rather than go back to moderators that cannot separate their moderation from their personal beliefs and be impartial.

I could not agree more with this simple statement.

I have learned so much about posters here for whom I used to have at least a modicum of respect. That only happened because "the gloves came off".

That said, I have an objection to being forced to participate in someone else's humiliation kink when, if personal attacks are removed, their comments add SFA to the discussion.

Those posters need to be eradicated toward the betterment of the entire site.
