FBI releases this study.
It does not say that BLM calls for cop killings but that their constant harping the the
cops are out to get black people makes those people think they have to get the cops before the cops get them.

www.wnd.com/2017/05/fbi-blm-inspired-cop-killings-new-norm/

But Obama!

I was tring to be carefull to not make this about personalities.

That's a first for you. Are your sure you're feeling okay?

Then you don't understand anything I post, and it isn't about me either.

mnottertail -> RE: BLM inspired cop killings the new norm (5/12/2017 1:41:02 PM)

its about as relevant as some killing cops inspired by BLM asswipe. 47 have already been killed this year, so, lets put that on on Il Douchovitch, you got it on Obama last year.

To call this "the new norm" demonstrates just how gullible some have become to "fake news."

Fair enough on "the new norm" bit, but after you discount the spin what's left is far from fake news.

An internal FBI investigation into the spike of attacks on law enforcement has determined that revenge, inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, the media's assault on police shootings, and criticism from politicians, is the what motivates a "majority" of those targeting cops . . . The report studied 50 of 64 killings of police in 2016 and found 14 simply wanted to kill police. ~Source

I don't see how they got to a "majority" from there, but 28% is certainly enough to raise concerns.

K.

When I used the term the new norm i was merely quoting the report.

Musicmystery -> RE: BLM inspired cop killings the new norm (5/12/2017 1:44:12 PM)

Was your intent in posting that report to (a) endorse its findings, (b) refute the use of that term, or (c) just being "newsy"?

Your source is two brief paragraphs from a web site.

mnottertail -> RE: BLM inspired cop killings the new norm (5/12/2017 1:53:14 PM)

not really you were conflating and spinning asswipe.

"Law enforcement officials believe that defiance and hostility displayed by assailants toward law enforcement appears to be the new norm,"

thats from your slobberblog.

Thing is, no study on the fbi website. https://www.fbi.gov/ so, it is curiouser and curiouser.

No where does the report say anything about constant harping by the media.

Aside from the fact that you are fabricating your OP and ignoring the orther factors mentioned - drugs, trying to get away, etc - what would you suggest as a solution? Censorship of the press maybe?

Censorship of the press, and the rest of the media, particularly those uppity rap chappies. It's all their fault, isn't it?

If you had a bunch of 2-5%, a 10%, a 12%, a 20% and a 28%, the 28% becomes the majority. It is a subset larger than any other subset.

Musicmystery -> RE: BLM inspired cop killings the new norm (5/12/2017 3:03:05 PM)

You need to look up "majority."

An honest, unbiased media is far too much to expect, obviously

How about asking that responsible consumers of media understand that they are (as a general rule) a radical, agenda-drive arm of the Democrat party

That's pretty reasonable

Yep. News stories often have misused/incorrect word usage.

People do it when they are talking or typing on this board. However this board is not near as bad as facebook for that.

I know this because it upsets people when you respond to their precise words instead of whatever they "meant."

A The media is an arm of the Democratic party.
B The Democrats are using groups like BLM to get power.
C It is pure fabrication to claim I evenmentioned the media's distortion of the news.
