I liberally started ignoring people for the first time about 2 or 3 years ago. I was looking at my address book and apparently I have 96 people on my Hidden List. When I look at some threads, like a troll bait post, sometimes 80% of the replies are hidden.

Do you ever hide someone that isn’t a troll, but they just never say anything about the topics? They just drop one-liners agreeing with or liking other people’s replies.

Or what about those people that just don’t get it… they have lots to say, but they always render opinions and perspectives that are so naïve, it is a waste of time to read them. It would take 2000 word replies and a year of mentoring to educate them.

And how about those people that come here looking for us to do all their homework for them or hand them answers on a silver plate. I am not talking about people with sincere questions that require human experience or opinions. I am talking about the do-me brats that treat us like google for dumb shit because they are too lazy to search this site or google.

So I have been using the hide feature like a filter to weed out all the nonsense. The ambience or tone of this site changed a lot over the past 4 or 5 years. Filtering the din makes visiting this site tolerable again.

On the other side; I've lost count of how many people I have on hide, simply because I can't stand seeing the content of their chosen photos, or the way they choose to write in the opening of their profile. I've blocked certain people over there too simply because I was sick of them stalking my profile, or the abusive way they were in messaging me.

On this side I have one person blocked, and I don't think he's here anymore. The only reason that person ended up blocked is because he kept trying to drag me in to all the argument he kept starting, and I didn't actually agree with him.

I don't block people, but I do ignore certain ones.

Same here. Some men's chosen profile photos leap out from the screen and make me gag on my wheaties [:D]

On this side I put those socks who post reams of gobbledegook text on hide.

And Tamaka is on hide for being a useless piece of shit whose text I don't want to see.

0 hidden. I do a lot of post skimming, and sometimes something from someone I don't usually follow will catch my eye and give me pause.

I might change that number by 1, but I doubt it.

On the other side, too many to bother counting. Usually young men who ignore my profile expressly saying that I'm not interested in younger men. Or blatantly fetish related names. Or I was tired seeing the same faces pop up on my page and having read their profiles and fetishes knew I wasn't interested.

Apparently I have 77 on my hudden list, but looking thru the list, they are mostly the bunches of socks who attacked last year, altho yes all socks.

On the other side, I have lots hidden, mostly due to the unsightly profile pics that other posters have mentioned.

On this side, a handful of people.

One or two totally clueless, unaware bozos who do nothing but troll maliciously, and the various incarnations of Team Suck Poppet that manifested in the past.

One or two whose language is just so ugly-not cursing, just literally so ugly that when I read their posts aloud in my head it gives me a headache-are on hide.

I used to have wicked on hide, because he was always trolling ladies about being fake and his posts were just incoherent. But at some point I took him off hide and realized that somewhere along the way he had picked up some clever wit. So I don't hide him anymore. Don't always read what he writes, but I don't hide him, lol. He makes me giggle sometimes.

I usually keep mine hidden now, and will probably do that again soon. My age takes me off the radar of most, so I don't get but a few random mails these days.

Zero. However, writing a one liner to agree could get me in trouble.
Sometimes I make a short comment, a point of view to encourage
thought. If it becomes ad nauseam or bleating on then a long explanation is a waste of time. I also appreciate a bit of wit.

I have 0 people on Hide!

Haven't gotten annoyed enough to put anybody on Hide.

They'd have to be spammers. In other forums I have put people on Hide, but that's for seriously spamming like spamming a forum with the same message over and over again.

But with "trolls" or anybody who is being very antagonistic towards me. It doesn't really affect me so I don't bother hiding them.

On the CollarSpace side though, I have LOADS of men on Hide. Especially if they got nude pictures of themselves, or cock pictures. All those go on Hide. So that they don't turn up on my Home Page.
