I spend an hour, maybe two here at a stretch. I get a lot done. I work full time, and go to school, and serve my Master in various ways, and help my mom take care of my dad when she needs it. This is my "unwinding" time. I type about 95wpm. Like Harry VanWinkle suggested, when I first came here, I spent a lot of sleepless evenings goofing around in the Polls & Stupidity threads. I probably post opinions to about 10% of the threads here, and sometimes I engage in conversations within threads which also increase the count. As for leaving my computer - hardly. I work at my computer all day (although I am not in CM while I'm in the office) and I do my homework on my computer, and I write various assignments for my Master on my computer, and I communicate with my family overseas on my computer, and.....you get the idea. My computer is pretty much ALWAYS on, except for the times I'm out and about - doing stuff, playing, visiting, etc. I sleep about 4-5 hours a night, so my days are long and very filled. For example, it is almost 1:30am here, and I get up around 6:30-7:00am to go to work. Like LA, when I'm home CM is often on in the background and I might toggle over from time to time to see what's sprung up. Maybe I'll post to it and go back to what I was doing. Posting to threads does not necessarily mean one is hanging out here all day. Although when I see my post count, I also wonder....wow. But I do think about half of them were racked up in the games during my late nights. That's my statement and I'm sticking to it.
