So.., I was watching the Manchester Concert by Ariana Grande and many other artists. And for a long while, I was puzzled why everybody on stage was wearing this, I love MCR T-shirt.

Because MCR stands for "My Chemical Romance" to me.

And I was wondering for a long damn time why the hell are they paying homage to My Chemical Romance when it's suppose to be to Manchester?

And then I realise, MCR stands for Manchester! WTF! How is MCR Manchester? Weirdest Abbreviation ever!

It may be the airport code. LAX means Los Angeles even though there's no X in the name. Because that's what the airport code is.

Yes especially since 'C' is completely different from 'CH' phonetically in the word Manchester.
