Status: offline 		Happy 4th of July for the Americans who will be celebrating it. Me, I am staying indoors and keeping my hands over my ears, praying my PTSD does not flare up.

Got a lot of doctor appts and stuff this month, including for Mom.

Last month, my baby brother's house caught on fire. Everything pointed to the dryer and the illegal layed out vent that was constructed before my brother brought the house (it was venting under the house, not out the side). They are in a 3,000 sq ft home now, getting a 4/2.5 2,200 modular home build on the property and getting things taken care of. Thank goodness for insurance. Luckily the beehives were not affected and he got 180 pounds of honey this year, triple of last years' output. All proceeds in this years' sales will go into buying an extractor so he won't be dependent on another beekeeper's machine.

Well, back to radar...got some storms in the area and somehow we avoid the 70 mph gusts of wind that is hitting the Texarkana area.

Status: offline 		I could use some bees here. I can usually count my honey bee sightings for the entire summer on one hand. The few I do see may be from small feral colonies, since I'm only seeing singles, not groups. I live in an area where most people are either certified Organic or keep things "Naturally Grown", so I would expect more bees. We have other pollinators like green bees, bee flies, and various other insects that seem to be doing a good job because we always have ample fruit and vegetable harvests. Still, it's a peculiar feeling to be able to walk barefoot on a sunny day across my lawn of white clover blossoms with no worry of getting stung.

Status: offline 		Got the results of an CVS test (they take a sample of placental tissue to screen for genetic abnormalities, which they are concerned about with me). One of the of the things they can find from that test is the sex with 100% certainty, and it turns out I am having girls. I am naming them Faith and Hope for a shit load of personal reasons.
