Well it is the 'legalized' money laundering that occurs day to day the existence of which funds, crime, terrorism and corruption and without which, we'd have...very few such problems.
Where do you think oligarch, mob and terrorist money etc., is kept ? How do you think corrupt govt, get their cash ? You can start with the BIS, The Bank of International Settlements.
For example, as far as I've read, Putin saved countless million$ by somehow getting his billion$ out of Cypress and...just in time.
Haven't you all figured it out yet ? Certainly most of the world is ignorant of the fact that without the acquiescence and cooperation of western banking, almost none of the shit that happens...happens.
