Betty Shelby found out that even though the jury wouldn't convict once they found out he was on PCP and the dept
rehired her that they would refine her to desk work. She couldn't go out on the street again because
anytime she did anything the dept would end up in court. Thus she has (wisely ) gotten out of law enforcement.
