As for the survival of the diseases, how do you know that those diseases couldn't have used other animals as hosts?

I was raised a Christian, but I figured out it was all bullshit (mostly by observing the disconnect between what supposedly devout Christians claimed to believe and what they actually lived by). I am a very happy apostate. I was raised in your cult, but I grew up and left such childish things behind.
