I have occasional bouts of hay fever, so I sometimes take allergy relief medications.

Why the fuck do those fuckwits put "ANTI DROWSY FORMULA" on the goddamn labels if, when you read the warnings on the bottle, it clearly states "May cause drowsiness?"

Which brings me to the next point of my rant...

Have you ever listened to the warnings and possible side effects of the prescription medications on TV?

Among the top "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING" things are"
May cause suicidal thoughts
May cause violent outbursts and uncontrollable anger
May cause permanent hearing loss (ED medications)
May lower immune response to infections
May cause partial or full blindness (ED medications again)
May lead to a higher risk of ovarian or uterine cancer (birth control)

I mean great, the medications out there may kill you.

Until your meds warn you that they "may cause disco dancing" or "may lead to talking Dutch in a high pitched voice", you can probably hazard the risks.

I would love to see may cause disco dancing on a label.

The yukkiest one I ever saw was "May cause anal seepage". I think that was for an anti-acid reflux medication.

Had a physiotherapy session the other day for frozen shoulder I have at the moment, and the physiotherapist finished by asking me to raise both arms to compare the range of movement in the affected shoulder to that in my other one.
It took a real effort of will not to do the "M" "C" and "A" after I realised what that looked like...

Hill, isn't there a slimming tablet that's notorious for causing anal leakage? I think there's been such a fuss about the stuff they've stopped prescribing it now.

I think ti was "Olestra" the fake fat that caused weight loss.

That's the stuff I was thinking of. Thanks. A food additive not a medication, then.
