DaddySatyr -> A Sad Day (8/4/2017 7:26:10 PM)

I swore I would never start one of these threads, but I was asked to reach out to this community.

I received a troubling phone call today. Our friend, Gauge, died on Wednesday.

I was told I could share details at my discretion, but I choose to share very little and only with those I KNOW were friendly with him.

Services will be in Allentown, Pennsyltucky this coming Wednesday (09 AUG). I will have more details about the services, in a couple of days and will share them via e-mail.

Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord.
May Your perpetual light shine upon him
and may his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through Your mercy, rest in peace. Amen.

This is very sad news. Please convey whatever condolences are appropriate to his submissive and children.
He has been and will be, missed. Thank you.

Charlotte

Oh wow! Im in shock. I always enjoyed reading Gauge's writing here. Peace be your journey, Gauge. Im sure you are in a beautiful place befitting a guy of your caliber.

Thank you for letting folks know, DaddySatyr. I definitely appreciated it...even though the news is incredibly sad. If you go, could you please pass along my condolences and let his people know his words made a positive impact on a stranger all the way across the US in Oregon?

Rest in peace Gauge, you were a good egg. :(

Lucylastic -> RE: A Sad Day (8/4/2017 10:36:04 PM)

I'm soo sorry to hear that Gauge has passed. He was one of the good guys, and had an evil sense of humour that make me laugh so hard.
I wish his family and friends happy memories to get them thru their grief. RIP Gauge. Gonna miss you.

mnottertail -> RE: A Sad Day (8/4/2017 11:45:52 PM)

LadyPact -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 12:23:05 AM)

I, and my family, are terribly sorry to hear the news. We would like to wish our condolences to his family.

Thank you, Gauge, for the interesting discussions and private messages over the years. May you rest in peace.

ResidentSadist -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 4:16:11 AM)

Thank you for volunteering to be the bearer of sad news. Gauge was "birds of a feather" and will be missed. You have my sympathies.

Hillwilliam -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 4:26:34 AM)

Gauge was one of the good ones. My condolences to his family.

ShaharThorne -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 4:34:07 AM)

My heart goes out to his family in this time of need...you're were one of the good ones, Gauge.

satanscharmer -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 11:00:24 AM)

I'm so sorry to hear this. I related to many of his posts.

My condolences to those that were close to him.

DaddySatyr -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 12:56:06 PM)

"volunteer"? No, Gauge's sister contacted me, and once I realized that I was not betraying his confidence (she knew about his membership, here), I identified my membership here and she asked me to convey the message.

I HATE being the bearer of bad tidings and sort of feared the messenger might get "killed" by some, here.

Be that as it may, I wanted to make sure that people who knew Gauge and lived close enough could pay their respects, if they wish.

I'll be going to the service (even though it requires going through that damnable Allentown tunnel on Rt. 81) and am offering a ride to anyone who is "on the way" (no more than a 50 mile deviation)

Michael

Gauge was one of the posters that drew me to the forum and kept me reading until I got hooked on my own. I have always hoped he would come back. I will be thinking of him and holding my own loved ones closer this evening.

outlier -> RE: A Sad Day (8/7/2017 8:37:07 PM)

Gauge was thoughtful, often insightful, and always with
a fundamental decency showing through. He will be missed.

All my best to those in pain from having him taken from their lives.
