I am not going to be a hypocrite just because Trump continues to cheapen the standing of the office of the Presidency. Some things are just wrong...and in doing them the message that is sent is opposite of what is intended.

If I were an owner I would not fire those that refuse to respect the flag...but I would tell them from now on they will fire themselves if they do not show the proper respect on my team... up to them.

What I would do is encourage them to support their causes on their own time and if it is a cause I could get behind I'd be happy to stand with them.

You don't have to worry about the republicans fiddling with your bits if you're old enough to vote.

If they want to support this cause they can do so off the field and out of uniform.
Keep in mind that a year ago the NFL wouldn't let the Cowboys do anything to honor
the 5 officers who were murdered at the BLM rally.
They said that nobody could do anything political at a game without
permission from the league so does that mean the league has given permission
to do this or that they will enforce the rules if you want to honor murdered cops
but turn their backs and won't enforce anti cop demonstrations.

I agree Bama... but it is up to the management of individual teams... they would be taking the chance of having to forfeit games if their players forced their hand.

Money money money... Myself I'd forfeit every damn game if I had to but I'd try to line up whoever I could to fill in... AND I'll bet I would still have a full house backing me up and those players would never play for me again... and they would play hell getting their money.

Point. I was thinking more of the institutionalised RWNJ taste for jailbait rather than reproductive rights, to be honest.

First I should say that I am pro-choice.
But I also don't think that Republicans not wanting women to kill their unborn makes the Republicans evil.
