WhoreMods -> Now that GOT has proved that they can CGI epic fantasy on't telly.... (8/12/2017 11:40:29 AM)

...are there any fantasy series you'd like to see televised once that he who is not your bitch's unfinished masterpiece is concluded?
Apparently there's an Elric film still in preproduction (for nearly as long as the Princess Bride was now), so that one's out, but anything else spring to anybody's mind?
Most of the genre stuff I'd like to see filmed myself is SF rather than fantasy, but I'm convinced Roger Zelazny's Amber series would work brilliantly as a television show, so long as they stop once Corwin is replaced by Merle as the protagonist.
Then there's Phillip Jose Farmer's World Of Tiers (which is technically SF, but still stinks of fantasy more muskily than a Cimmerian's jockstrap), Richard Morgan's Sodomy And War trilogy and Tanith Lee's The Birthgrave and its sequels.
I'm sure those who are younger than I am have better lists still, as well. Any takers?

Silverlock would be great fun, I think... but I am not sure much CGI would be necessary.

I would say The Wheel of Time series, but there is probably no way to do it justice. Keeping in mind it was a long time ago that I had read it, and I believe the author died before finishing it.
