Why would a sub crash from subspace quickly?

If the dom's behavior/voice/etc reverted back to 'vanilla' immediately when the 'scene' was over it would trigger a crash.

If you have to ask this kind of thing, you're not in the position to mentor or counsel anyone.

So, here we go, in no particular order:

Temperature. During activity, the body is compensating for said activity. (Think impact play.) The bottom (meaning the person, not the rear end) will feel "warm" as the activity continues. When the activity stops, they adjust to the room temperature, or it brings a feeling of being 'cold.'

Poor emotional/mental state prior to play. Kink can be a distraction, but the distraction only lasts as long as play lasts. Due to the euphoric high that is brought on by endorphins and adrenaline, when a person gets back to 'normal' state, that normal feels like a low.

Lack of physical maintenance. By this, I mean food and hydration. A person doesn't have to be a diabetic to feel the effects of their blood sugar dropping.

A female's menstrual cycle. No kidding. In my experience, women experience drop way more often than men do and some of that has to do with where she might be in her hormonal cycle.

Inappropriate/mis-matched after-care needs (wants). If your after-care so-called needs are completely different from that of the top, you're just kind of setting yourself up.

Immediate interruption from extreme or edge play. The halt screws with a person psyche.

If you want to understand drop, why drop happens, and all of that cool stuff, you need to research what happens to the body and the brain from play. If you can understand the highs, you'll understand the (potential) lows.

About temperature, bondage lowers it. The compression slows blood flow. Pallet wrap prevents sweat from escaping, so when it's removed, the cool air hits and it all evaporates. Lowering body temp.

The worst drops I've ever had were when I had to get up and drive due to an unexpected phone call. There you are floating peacefully, and the next moment you need to pull yourself together and focus.
