As a pilot I had to study weather, and later I also did some cloud seeding. The first thing I noticed was this guy mentioned chemtrails in his opening statements. Any time you hear the term "Chemtrails" you know you are listening to a conspiracy fanatic that likely has also been taken captive by a UFO and given the old anal probe by little green men. Yes, you can make a case for chemtrails if you consider Agent Orange used in Vietnam, but that's about the only case that exists, and it requires fleets of aircraft equipped with spray booms to work on any large area. We just don't have that kind of aircraft in the numbers it would require. He even showed a brief flash of an aircraft supposedly creating chemtrails. What the photo actually showed was an airliner dumping fuel during an emergency so it will be light enough to land without collapsing the landing gear. As soon as you hear "chemtrails" in any discussion you can just tune out. The next thing I noticed was him saying that NEXRAD Doppler RADAR was being used to push weather around. Doppler RADAR is used to measure turbulence in the air so pilots can avoid wind shear and give you a smoother flight. It doesn't have enough power to move a paper plane, much less the 120 trillion tons of water that Harvey is estimated to have dumped on Texas. Then he goes on about how rain generation machines were used to suddenly strengthen Harvey just as it reached land. That's total BS. No such capability exists. The simple reason Harvey strengthened as it approached the coast is because hurricanes draw strength from warm water. The gulf grows shallower close to the coast and shallow water is more easily heated by the sun. Harvey got stronger because it moved over warmer water. No mystery or conspiracy there. As for cloud seeding a single aircraft might be able to seed as much as a square mile of area with 1000# of iodide or barrium salts, (used to create condensation nuclei in already saturated air) but it would take every plane in the world to seed enough area to generate a Cat 4 hurricane. After 8 minutes into this guys "Baffle with tons of rapid BS" rant I shut it off. Guys like the vlogger don't deserve my time.
