Okay, so I am not sure how many know about this 3D social game, but I am going to try explain it the best of my ability. It's called Second Life, and I have been playing Second Life since 2011. Back than it was, so much better than it is now. I will explain when they updated to mesh it just basically mesh clothes, so it was too bad at all. Than they updated to pathfinding which no one really cared about much. Than they updated to mesh bodies now let me tell you something about the mesh bodies sometimes they can be a real pain in the ass, and I will tell you why on this because you have to mess with the alpha layers just to get the clothes that are compatible for the body to fit right. Now some of the creators are stupid, and don't know how to cut the clothes right. And ever since the mesh bodies came around. You would see more more lag on the sims now the sims are called Simulator it's basically a place where you can build create your own place, or shop, or whatever. After the mesh bodies have been around for a while they fixed the servers to where they put a code in called Server Side Baking which was to help reduce the lags, and textures, and would come in clearer well that went okay I guess. Next they are what was called Jelly Dolls which is really stupid in my opinion, but what it does is to help you reduce the lag on any busy Sims. I didn't like how the avatars they looked like gummy bears when your complexity was too high. Next they updated to Bento now Bento was a awesome feature they added basically skeletal structures which your hands, and head move which was really cool for a while everything was going okay until one night. Linden Lab ran into a maintenance update on there login system which took all their services offline. When they recovered it all the sims were fucked up, and some became full, and returned everyone stuff. And, they suggested everyone to submit case ticket with a rollback restart. Well it worked for some, and others it didn't I was one of the victims which it didn't. Now I am quite upset that I lost all the items I bought. And, plus all the work I put in for it. This weekend I might consider working on land fixing it up again. But, for this reason I am slowly losing interest in Second Life due to this failure with Linden Lab. I am not even sure, if I really want to be on Second Life that much anymore due to this embarrassing failure with Linden Lab I was fighting with Linden Lab yesterday trying to get this fixed, but it was like playing cat, and mouse. What do you think? Should I continue staying on Second Life, or just take a couple months break from it. I can tell you this I am not happy about it at all.

It's fantastic that you are leaving an online game. Now you will have time to go outside, hike, enjoy nature, visit face to face with friends, and make new friends. Sounds as if your live will improve. You'll end up being happier and more well rounded.

Yes, I am crazy about feathered creatures. I have a dozen chickens, 3 ducks, 5 geese, and 2 parakeets.

Revise that number. Just got 14 new chicks and 5 turkeys.

Well not exactly I have met a few people in RL from Second Life I have taken the time to save up money, and went on a long trip. I love to travel, traveling is my thing. So, that wasn't the problem the problem was this screw they did with Linden Lab.

Well they either drive to their state, or take other transportation like a plane, bus, or train. In my case I take a bus, or train to their state a long the way I get to see some beautiful scenery, and meeting nice people along the way.

I think you're way too invested in a video game.

Well I have been on Second Life for.....5 years now I have a lot of friends on there. It's just that Linden Lab kind of messed things up for me badly.

Same way they meet people from here. Virtual is virtual. Until it's not.

(Hmm. That almost sounds wise.)

Ask these friends their opinions. None of us have sufficient experience in SL to advise you.
