When the people collectively realize they can vote to give themselves a nation's treasury and decide they no longer want to contribute because of that, it's over. At some point a strongman is deemed necessary to make the resulting failed system work

Sort of like how the phony strongman Trump promised to give all the white people their jobs back?

Did Bozzie just make an argument for taxes?

It's only in your deranged imaginary world that anyone has ever been against all taxes, and to contribute means a lot of things here in reality, not just taxes.

Seek help, get the meds you badly need then try to claw your way back to the real world

China wants the buffer between herself and the American allies surrounding her.

She will keep North Korea going.

I think you're overestimating just how valuable NK is to China.

I don't think so.

"North Korea is presently a national-security priority for U.S. officials because Kim Jong Un is building missiles that could carry a nuclear device to the United States, but Chinese officials don’t share that sense of urgency. North Korea has possessed nuclear weapons and shorter-range missiles that can hit China for years now. And while China opposes North Korea’s nuclear-weapons program, its top security concern with regard to North Korea is something different: the collapse of Kim Jong Un’s government creating chaos in the North, which in turn could produce a refugee crisis, loose nukes, and an opportunity for the U.S. military presence in the region to expand right up to China’s borders."

Oh Google boy, I thought you blocked me. Couldn't do it and lied about it didn't you. It shows you just can't stand not seeing what I say. LMAO at your little digs though Google boy. You see, your problem is you think what you say affects other people the same as what they say affects you. Run to mumsey Google boy. She'll kiss it better for you.

I blocked you for a while, then today I unblocked you.
It was a mistake.

It's amazing how worked up you get, spewing these creepy old man insults and trying to prove to yourself that I am threatened in any way by you.
In order for that to happen, there would have to be actual discussions taking place instead of this really embarrassingly awful insult exchange.

If you seriously enjoy this antagonism as much as you seem to, then at your age, it must be really difficult to find reasons to keep going.

Oh Google boy, does that mean you're going to take positive steps to prevent yourself turning sixty?

No, it means I desperately want to avoid being like you when I turn 60.

Fucking hell, this isn't even a partisan thread and now it's turned to shit because the RWNJs are only capable of discussing a handful of topics.

Did someone troll your thread troll boy? Check out post 8. I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't run NK.

China isn't going to side with NK if they actually follow through with a nuclear strike, and I don't think they have as much control over them as everyone would like to think.
As much as toppling the regime would cause problems for both China and South Korea, they aren't going to get into a war with the US over it.

Things have never been exactly rosy between the US and NK, but the rhetoric is getting pretty heated, with Kim actually threatening a nuclear strike today:

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/north-korea-vows-to-unleash-unimaginable-nuclear-strike-on-us/ar-AAtJYnM?li=AAadgLE&ocid=spartanntp

If Trump removes all hope of ever negotiating with the US and keeps hitting them with sanctions, what does Kim have to lose by following through?
Maybe he can't win, but he can definitely get revenge on the nation who toppled his regime.

They're not going to "side" with them per se. But they're not letting North Korea vanish.

It's only completely up to China, and China will only do exactly as you predict, in your imaginary make-believe world

I feel like since people are already dying and starving there.

I seriously want to see North Korea dictatorship taken out and see the unification of North and South.

I want North Koreans to have the freedom to interact with the rest of the world.

But as with any big change. Often involve big casualties first.

Historically, this is always the case.

Germany and Japan didn't become the more peaceful country they are today without ALOT of casualties.

Nope. In my well-cited often discussed reality that when Beijing looks south, it sees a ring of US allies, and it doesn't want them on her borders. And certainly not US troops on her border.

You probably don't realize, so I'll explain -- links take you to articles that discuss those issues. Many of us share these articles, so that we can see what research and policy experts have to contribute.

That's because the opinion of a bunch of wankers on a kink site doesn't mean much to us.

If the North and South reunite, don't you think the US military bases will be kinda unnecessary?
I know the US still has unnecessary bases all over the world, but still...

North and South are not likely to unite either. Do you think that's even in the wind? Source?

Oh fuck off with this bullshit.
Seriously, everyone knows you hate leftism and think all leftists want North Korea, Venezuela, Stalinist Russia, etc.
And Hillary is the same as Stalin, Hitler, Mao, and Satan.

It is obvious that you don't give a shit about anything except your hatred of what you think the left, but it's really boring watching you keep going on and on about it.

We get it.
Seriously.
Stop.

I don't have a source, I guess I just assumed that if the Kim dynasty collapses, someone will have to supervise reunification.
There would definitely be an enormous, unthinkable mess to clean up, though... especially since the North considers the South to be under occupation by the enemy.

I'll believe it when I see it.

And North Korea would be a tremendous drain on any country taking over (even if through unification).

So, you prefer multimillionaire Colin Kaepernick's woeful tale of the unbearable hardships and misery he has been forced to endure under capitalism... ?

They might, but this is not the first time that we have been told NK was about to implode, and yet they keep struggling on somehow.

He isn't exactly Gorbachev.

I would say they are pretty damned good. I suspect that SK would get the brunt of it.
