They say you can cite a tanker load of watery diarrhea festering with diseased heebeegeebees and the wanker pox.

Be this true foul wanker?

I'm curious as to how information can be considered a contribution. That seems unconstitutional by way of violating freedom of speech & association.

And both campaigns may very well come under fire for that same thing, so this isn't a leftist question.

This is a thread about the upcoming charges in the Trump campaign/Russia collusion and Trump obstruction of justice case.
Why does Hillary's Uranium One deal have any bearing on that?
WHO GIVES A SHIT WHO FUNDED THE DOSSIER???
Did FusionGPS hack into the GOP database? Steal emails? Tamper with voting machines? Spread fake news? Influence the election? Are they a foreign government? Are they hostile to the US?

The only way they are connected to this topic is because the GOP is using that to distract you from what is going on with them, and because YOU are also blatantly, pathetically desperate to avoid honestly addressing the topic.

HILLARY ISN'T THE PRESIDENT.
SHE DIDN'T WIN.

Even if she was murdering babies, it would have NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on the topic of this thread.

Did anyone hack the DNC? Did anyone actually tamper with voting machines? It appears Russians spent about $300,000 on fake ads.

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/opinion/the-conversation/sd-how-much-money-russians-spent-twitter-facebook-ads-20170928-htmlstory.html

Hillary spent $9,000,000 just to get fake info from Fusion. Apparently, news out today is that Obama kicked in $1,000,000 more and then may have sent the dossier to his agencies to start unmasking Trump and his associates.

http://thefederalist.com/2017/10/29/obamas-campaign-gave-972000-law-firm-funneled-money-fusion-gps/

Russians spent $300,000 on things that included attacking the GOP a well as Hillary. Hillary spent $1,400,000,000 on attacking Trump. We know that. We don't know if the DNC was hacked.

The question really is why leftist dipshits howl so much and understand so little.

From the article:

quote:

Specifically, the complaint contends that, last year, Ukrainian-American operative and DNC consultant, Alexandra Chalupa met with Ukrainian government officials to get information in an effort to expose ties between Trump, his former campaign manager Paul Manafort and Russia. As reported, a political officer in the Ukrainian Embassy was instructed to help Chalupa conduct research on connections between Trump, Manafort and Russia. The DNC subsequently acknowledged that it had knowledge of the research.

First, according to federal law, an in-kind contribution consists of “anything of value, including information and leads, the fruits of paid research, or similar investigatory activity, to a political committee.” Second, federal law also prohibits accepting or receiving anything of value from foreign nationals and the Ukrainian government officials are foreign nationals.

Since Chalupa allegedly engaged in both activities as a DNC staffer, this collusion would constitute an illegal, in-kind contribution. And, even though the DNC claimed it “did not incorporate [Chalupa’s] findings in its dossiers on the subjects,” that would be irrelevant as the DNC solicited and received valuable opposition research.

Hillary and the DNC paid nine million + to their Russian collaborator friends for opposition research, dirt on political campaigns doesn't come cheap even if it is fiction (like what they paid for vs. Trump)

It looks more like an inside job than anything. Perhaps a disgruntled Bernie bra getting revenge for having the election stolen from his commie overlord

The DNC server was never inspected by Obama's hopelessly corrupt DoJ, which conveniently tried to claim without even seeing it that it was "The Russians" who hacked it

Fusion GPS then hired Christopher Steele, a former British spy, to compile a dossier of allegations that Trump and his campaign actively colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 election. Though many of the claims in the dossier have been directly refuted, none of the dossier’s allegations of collusion have been independently verified. Lawyers for Steele admitted in court filings last April that his work was not verified and was never meant to be made public.

...

The timing and nature of the payments to Perkins Coie by Obama’s official campaign arm raise significant questions about whether OFA was funding Fusion GPS, how much Obama and his team knew about the contents and provenance of the dossier long before its contents were made public, and whether the president or his government lieutenants knowingly used a partisan political document to justify official government actions targeting the president’s political opponents named in the dossier. According to the Washington Post, Fusion GPS was first retained by Perkins Coie on behalf of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in April of 2016.

http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/357581-clinton-trump-and-the-russia-dossier-what-you-need-to-know

Some of the allegations appear to have been debunked, like a claim that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen travelled to Prague during the election to meet with a Russian official.

Hell pops, read above where even lawyers for Steele said the dossier is unverified.

Bosco, every time you post an article about any thing it is:

1. Off topic and irrelevant
2. Filled with partisan assertions with no basis in fact.

Usually both 1 and 2. Almost always 2.

Pops, your post above was off topic and a partisan rant. You frequently do that when people show evidence that you don't know what you're talking about.

Yeah, he has a fantasy world rolling in his head. President Trump is a Russian agent in there and everything, and any facts from the real world that don't fit get blocked

A month ago, paying Russians for dirt on opposition politicians was literally "treason" but now that it is being learned that the Democrats did it vs Trump and not the other way around it is just "ordinary every day opposition research" with the usual "nothing to see here" dismissive

But MJ refuses to see any of it. In his world it's still Trump who is guilty of what we in the real world have learned, was really a Dem scandal all along

heavyblinker -> RE: First charges filed in Mueller investigation (10/30/2017 1:36:38 AM)

It is objectively true that some parts of the dossier HAVE been verified:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39435786
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3HMYIicD_4

I don't know what the RWNJ echo chamber has said about it, but it seems like the droolers over there think it has been completely debunked and labelled a lie simply because some opinion columns and FOX commentary hosts desperately want it to be fake.

No, that is a lie.

The 'treason' was the concerted effort made by the Russians to help Trump win by hacking emails, hacking the DNC database, tampering with voting machines, etc.
It isn't about simply sharing information.
