There is no victory in this issue. Fear and intolerance is the issue not a political party. Most reasonable people saw the necessity of closer scrutiny of people coming into our country from troubled areas of the world. The problem was not the scrutiny but how it was done. President Trump, as usual, put our country at risk by a hurried Ill conceived politically motivated plan. The challenges forced him to change this plan multiple times until it was finally a version that could pass the courts. In the mean time we had no protection. How can any reasonable person call this fiasco a victory?

The president had no choice but to craft policy designed to circumvent their power grab

Here we are now, with the SC doing the right thing and restoring power to its rightful place

The only way you can argue that "the president" put the country at risk, is if you are arguing that Muslims are by nature of their cult all on edge, ready to attack at the slightest provocation

The U.S. trade deficit jumped 8.6 percent in October as imports from China and other suppliers hit a record high ahead of the holiday shopping season, a Commerce Department report released Tuesday showed.

The monthly trade gap totaled $48.7 billion, the highest level for a full month since President Donald Trump took office on Jan. 20.

Ahead of the election, a Trump campaign adviser asserted they could eliminate the deficit in one or two years. Instead, the 2017 deficit is on track to exceed the 2016 level of $505 billion.

Imports of goods and services hit a record high of $244.6 billion as the U.S. economy continued to strengthen and suck in more goods from abroad. Imports totaled $48.2 billion from China, $39.4 billion from the EU and $28.7 billion from Mexico — all record highs.

In addition, the average price for imported crude oil was $47.26 per barrel during October, the highest since August 2015, a Commerce Department highlights sheet showed.

U.S. exports totaled $195.9 billion in October, unchanged from September. However, exports to China hit $13 billion, the highest since December 2013.

During Trump's recent visit to Beijing, U.S. companies signed contracts valued by the Commerce Department at around $250 billion. But it could be months before any of those transactions are reflected in U.S. trade data.

President Trump won because he exploited our disaster of of an electoral system, the electoral college. He got enough low-information voters in rural areas, whose votes were over-valued, to vote. Plain and simple. That, and because he was running against one of the most incompetent and corrupt candidates to run for President. (Second only to himself!)

I've not seen the President in any trouble. I have heard he is in trouble since before the election. First it was the polls, then abuse of women, then his health, then he was supposed to be crazy, then it was still the polls and when he won it was obstruction of justice for firing Comey then it was Russia over and over and over for almost a year and then it was his son in criminal trouble somehow by meeting with Russian contacts and then it was Muller supposedly going to expose Trump a criminal somehow someday and then it was polls again saying nobody likes him and then it was somehow Trump financing much of his business in a German bank, like many business leaders, is a crime or something.

In all these things he has never seemed to actually be in trouble. However, it is looking like somebody is in trouble. It just is not the President.

However, for a while I thought I was in trouble. I live in the South and naturally have a pick-up truck and bought a new one last Friday. This one goes against the grain. It is not a Ford, Chevy, GMC or Dodge truck and has a name not normally associated with an American pick-up truck, a TITAN. To make matters worse I chose not black or red or silver or white like most Southern men normally choose for a color but instead chose something called Pear Blue Metallic.

Screw em. I go my way and it's a winner. Kinda like President Trump.

Oh yeah. It's "huge". This whole "resist" movement is about the Supreme Court and who is on it for the next 20 years. The left needs to remove Trump before he appoints another Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and sets the agenda back by, well, maybe forever. That's what is at stake here. So, the Supremes quickly stomping on the leftist lower courts trying to take power away from the Executive Branch is a sign of things to come.

Oh yeah. It's very "huge".

This announcement to move the embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel...is drawing a lot of condemnation from world leaders, not to mention the religious ramifications.
