It used to be we could see the matches on the main page in any of three modes, photo grid, photo list, or text list. The only one currently working is text list. A LOT of accounts, ours included, are also unable to attach photos with original emails. We can only attach photos when we reply to others' emails.

NOW, the latest, is that the "New Users" function is broken, on the main page. It used to update every so often with newly-opened accounts. It hasn't updated now for over a week or longer. Actually, a couple New Users showed up a couple days ago, but that was it.

What next? Has anyone any information? Will the New Users function be restored? Will -any- lost functions? Thoughts? Ideas?

It's an old site, reminiscent of the old internet which was community driven, open, free and slightly dangerous. And it is withering away now. I know less about the owner and the status than some of the regulars here but suffice to say that change is slow and even the moderators have little influence over the functions and functionality of the site.

I don't think the "New Users" function is broken per se, I think there are far less numbers joining CS than there used to be.

I think the new user functions are actually broken. At best partially functional I couldnt sign in the other day, tried to make a new user "Darcaptor2" kind of thing ... that facility doesnt work. It just broke. Every attempt to get past the CAPTCHA failed. perhaps I'm actually a robot?
Anyway , over the last 10 days it seems the site is having a death rattle. the mail section doesnt work. http://www.collarspace.com/personals/read.htm . Anyone surprised? Not really. The owner isn't the original programmer and its falling apart.

The database seems to have gone back a few days and a few NEW members who got throught the gauntlet and signed up somehow will find their accounts gone.
I guess not too many people programming in ASP any more!

The mail function still works for at least some. I deleted (unread) two emails from people that I didn't know yesterday.

I can send email, no problem
I can delete read emails
I cannot send any photos to users via email. At least if I make first contact. Have had some success in sending a photo with a reply
I cannot delete sent emails
The cloudfare redirect for the past week has been irratating. Though I am not getting that this evening right now
It appears the site did a restore today? Only users that appeared where from yesterday for a while

hmmm.....that about covers it.

Oh yea.......Merry Christmas!!!

The site is falling apart from a programming point of view, every month something new is broken and most remain unfixed or half assed repaired. It's a lot like bondage.com back in the old days but at least before they sold to ALT they tried valiantly to keep their truly old and cobbled together code working. Here there appears to be no real effort. The forums are a rented set of software and someone else maintains it, otherwise this too would be a mess.

It's astonishing no one has taken them on and competed with a bdsm dating site. I guess everyone in the biz is happily making a profit with no effort or work but eventually someone will come along and set up a solid platform that will make this place outdated overnight.

Because all the equivalent ones out there are not as good.

Anyone notice that the main menu changes depending on what web browser you use? For instance when I use Puffin on my tablet, the main menu has a "Live Video" and "Live Cams" radio button on the main menu. When I use Chrome on my tablet those radio button are not there. Strange
