You are not entitled to a single damn thing you haven't earned dude-are you a Liberal?

LadyDemura -> RE: Lacking common courtesy or scammers? (1/13/2018 11:25:20 PM)

Strangely, I find this site to have way higher response to message than any vanilla dating site I've tried.

Of course, that does depend on what you are saying. If you are not saying the right things, you are not going to get many responses on any site.

If it's pretty obvious the sender has not read my profile and is an unreasonable distance away I won't reply to a simple message or one that has no relation to whom or where I am.

Senders get blocked and I put them in the spammer / scammer category.

The obvious ones were from brack when I had no pictures of myself in my profile and the first thing was "Oh I love your profile picture. "

No one is 'owed' a reply. Gods know most of my mails go unanswered.

That said there are people who practice 'common courtesy' I've found, well besides me.

"Common courtesy, isn't."

You are never, ever, owed an answer online.

For many it's safer and easier to just stop responding then send a negative response because people are assholes. It's not worth the energy to try to be nice if over and over you get people exploding at you for saying no thanks.

You are always owed an answer, even online, but most people are assholes.

Definition of asshole: Someone willing to be rude to avoid their own social anxiety and/or 5 seconds of work.

It is ALWAYS worth the effort to be nice - it's about who YOU are, not about how people respond to you being nice.

People who get reallty worked up over someone who terminates a conversation with an anonymous stranger without formally announcing it is one reason people don't formally announce when they are terminating a conversation with an anonymous stranger.

If you don't reply, you never have to face "the fury of childish rejection."

I'm guessing you were burned so many times, the bitter bile runneth over. Strangers owe you precisely - zero. Your sense of entitlement reeks to high hell.

This!! ^^ Which is primarily the reason I don't bother replying to those who do not meet my requirements. On that 'other' site is a Group called "Return to Sender". If you want to see the trash emails that people (mostly women) have to sift through their boxes, go peek. Some are amusing, some are horrific.

Some folks just give off that sort of vibe.
