While we are still on the subject, trust me kinkroids, we can go on and on here but there are those that will tell you and I am one of them, that:

A squandron of UFO's attacked LA during WWII (2/25/42) and the whole thing with literally countless 1000's of witnesses, after 1400 hundred rounds expended...was covered up. We didn't even cause a burn let alone any real damage.

HERE

Another veritable squadron of UFO's closed in on our aircraft over the capitol in 1952.

There was another flying saucer attack on your capital back in 1996...

Pentagon X-Files chief says UFOs DO exist and aliens may have visited earth from outer space

Luis Elizondo - former head of a secret £16million US government programme into extraterrestrial life - claims the existence of UFOs has now been proven 'beyond reasonable doubt'

THE former chief of a secret US government programme claims UFOs really do exist.

Luis Elizondo claims proof of their existence has been "proved beyond reasonable doubt" after heading a secret £16million investigation into the existence of extraterrestrial life.

Speaking to The Telegraph Elizondo said: "I think it's pretty clear this is not us, and it's not anyone else, so one has to ask where they're from.

"In my opinion, if this was a court of law, we have reached the point of 'beyond reasonable doubt'. I hate to use the term UFO but that's what we're looking at."

He said much of what he could discuss was still classified but said there had been "lots" of UFO sightings during the programme.

He was unable to comment on whether his team had examined sightings in other countries including the UK.

Not to burst anyone's bubble about the whole "we have been visited by aliens" idea, but there are a few very small problems with aliens coming to earth.

Not in any particular order:
1) The speed of light barrier, it would take infinite energy to push a solid mass beyond the speed of light
2) If an alien intelligence solved the problems with physicist Miguel Alcubierre's warp drive metric theory, it would require an energy source that is still the equivalent of the total energy output of a star over its lifetime.
Which of course could mean they have managed to harness one of three forms, anti-matter conversion, dark energy, zero point energy
3) The odds do not favor an altruistic or benign encounter, in other words, an alien species would be more likely to invade, enslave and basically do exactly what humans did in their colonial expansion and empire building phases of civilization.

OR
4) If they were not prone to invasion and conquest, but actually had evolved past that, one brief observation of human society either in the present or over the past few thousand years would be more than enough to put up a "Do not land this species is insane and bloodthirsty" warning on any navigation charts they may use.

Life as we know it had far better odds of materializing out of otherwise sterile mud if every planet in the cosmos through all of time were potential birth planets, as opposed to the odds of life beginning out of sterile conditions on just one single planet in a relatively very limited period of time.

In other words, life more likely than not began elsewhere, and Earth was seeded with it

Our forebearers really thought that Earth was the center of the universe and many people hold a very similar view of things today

Just a few hundred years ago, using the knowledge, beliefs, and science of the day, it was believed that a man could not live if he traveled faster than a horse could run. If you proclaimed that some day men would walk on the moon or travel several times faster than sound you would have been laughed at, to say the least. Some men were even imprisoned for making even lesser proclamations. Travel hundreds of miles from city to city in a matter of hours in a carriage that was not pulled by horses? Preposterous!

The things you state are very true when seen through the eyes of today's science and knowledge. But look at the difference made in a short, few hundred years, right here on our own planet. If there is other life in the universe, and I think there is, it would be foolish of us to think that we are the most intelligent, or the most advanced. There is no way to determine the wonders that a more intelligent or a more advanced race of beings might be capable of.

Personally, I don't see any reason to think that an alien race is "likely" to be either more or less aggressive or sinister.

Here is a little "fantasy" I dreamed up years ago and often wonder about. 6000 years ago (give or take thousands of years depending on your individual ideas) humanoid aliens visit the earth and find a planet filled with animals of less than human intelligence. So they take some of the more intelligent ones . . . the great apes . . . and genetically alter them . . . . . . . .creating man in their own image. And since then they stop by on their interstellar journeys from time to time to monitor their growth. Maybe we are just an experiment?

Definitely NOT saying I believe it. Just an idea I've toyed with from time to time.

There was a Twilight Zone episode along those lines. A male was kept in a house. Normal looking aliens could to view humans in their habitat. Like watching an animal at the zoo.

Myself, I'm a bit dubious that a bunch of government agencies who couldn't even manage to hush up a president paying somebody to burgle the other party's campaign headquarters or a later president getting his cock sucked in the oval office could successfully keep something this big quiet for over half a century.

Nothing was kept quiet, there have been news stories and leaks (such as the one I linked to in my OP) for years and years now

Umm, do you have camera footage that proves that tale?

Clearly, you have a reading comprehension problem.

I stated there is a math formula that proves that warp drive is possible, which if you understood physics is appearing to move faster than the speed of light.

Second, I stated that there are three forms of energy that would provide the power to do just that, one is anti matter/ matter conversion, which we know is possible, we just dont know how to create that much antimatter, and the other two we suspect exists but have yet to confirm it.

Finally, the moving a mass past the speed of light, would require an infinite amount of energy, since the relativistic mass would increase to an infinite amount the closer to the speed of light it gets.

Which is why light cannot escape the gravity well of a black hole. The black hole's mass is pretty much infinite when you consider the size of the singularity at the center.
