A thoughtful piece from fivethirtyeight.com

What are the approaches and what are the real goals?

A better synopsis of the right in general for 40 years and specifically for the last year or so...I have not read. The piece was spot on.

It's all the repubs have and have had since Reagan started the whole thing. That bullshit, gerrymandering and the electoral college.

Actually I don't want to see anything change.

When all of the indictments come down and even if Trump himself escapes this criminality, I want to see the R in the republican brand so tarnished and disgraced, that they never have the exec. or any majority again. The backlash is already starting.

I'd say Trump is the backlash.
Hopefully the DNC will clean up its crooked ass and the RNC will get of theirs and actually do something.

The fact that you find it spot-on only better reflects your partisanship.

It's 100 % repub, partisan propaganda that is the basis of the article and the fact that Mueller and yes, Comey too, lifetime reg. repubs and for 12 years were just fine.

They were seeking justice, honest men...doing their jobs.

Oh but now, Comey refuses to indict Hillls, gets fired for going after the Russian connection then the spin changes he's fired for not indicting Hills and Meuller is only now...not seeking justice because of any number of bullshit reasons.

Don't make me laugh, The repubs are and have been nothing but political partisan hacks since Reagan.

Whereas the Dems...Mueller and everyone on his investigative team...are all upright, outstanding citizens. Like Clinton (tak e your puck of Hillary or Bill). Like Corinne Brown. Like Eric Holder.

You are absolutely correct. Comey, Mueller and everyone on his investigative team...were[are] all upright, outstanding citizens under the repub and right's agenda...until now.

Only now are they partisans and all of the applicable right wing repub opprobrium and hypocrisy seeks to poison and denigrate the whole investigation.
