First off: I remind everyone we're in "Off the Grid", here.

I have been avoiding the NFL all season. Obviously, no matter whether you have a theory as to why, the NFL's numbers are down this year (again).

I was wondering how many people are fans of college football and I was hoping to have a thread like the "NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread" focused on College Football.

The kind of fan I am, I am not critical so much of the other team (except in-game comments). I tend to focus on the pluses and minuses of my own team. I'd like to see if we can keep it that way, here; as opposed to just coming in and slamming someone else's team.

All that said, I want to repeat: I remind everyone we're in "Off the Grid", here. and, of course,

Status: offline 		Could the NCAA ban weird color fields please? Is it Boise State that has that blue field and matching uniform and you can’t see anything happening until they rerun it in slow motion and close ups?

And they’re not the only ones.

It is Boise State. In fact, they retain those colors based upon a "special dispensation" from the NCAA.

I was a little confused by the end zone "decorations" in the Rose Bowl, yesterday. It was a bit weird.

I was a bit troubled by some of the (what some of us euphemistically refer to as) "extra-curricular activity" which seemed to (mostly) be coming from the Bulldog players.

No. 24 on the Bulldogs lowered his helmet and hit a Bama player in the rib cage. The Bama player was already on the deck (he was flagged for something else, on the next play).

Then, you had No. 78 on Bama, throwing a punch at a coach and still being allowed to play.

WTF?

Status: offline 		Yeah, I was shocked when Brown went after the coach, especially since it followed on the heels of a penalty. Saban should have pulled him out.
