Why is it, i meet some men who come across very genuine and we talk a few months.Then we get comfortable to meet i clear the day set time and place and they never show. Some even make it seem as though oh im on my way to said arranged place,again they dont show. Why why do they do that as it waists their time and mine not to mention gas.... why can't they be honest and say im not looking for real time....

Likely because they're only fantasists, or married, with no intention of meeting anyone. This happens to us all at one time or another.

On this subject, many women set up meetings at a munch or play party so they aren't wasting their time if the person doesn't show. They have their activities already planned and if the person turns up, it's a bonus. You could also put aside half an hour on a day you're doing errands, if he's a no show you still have things to do while you're out and the day isn't a waste.

barnes and noble is a great place for first meets, 'cause if they don't turn up, you can browse in the books.

And I didn't ever wait months for a first meet. I wanted real time so met within a few weeks. If they didn't want to do this, too bad. I wasn't wasting months chatting on line. I didn't want an online relationship, so waiting that long before meeting didn't make sense to me.

No shows stink. As MsLadySue stated many are just fantasizing or could not figure away to get away from their wife. Your profile does say you are looking for tributes, Right, wrong of indifferent, No shows are a part of that business.

I’m uncertain if you’re speaking to men in your vicinity but that’s a very long time to wait. Too long in my opinion. If the initial conversations have been pleasant and you’ve conversed on the phone you need to meet. Delaying things is rarely ideal.

When I found myself in a similar situation I insisted on meeting sooner than He had in mind. But I was adamant. Stretching time out wouldn’t change a thing.

sadly i have been guilty of this and it is regrettable

sometimes my nervousness about meeting overpowers my needs

and i back out

it is something i am working on

it was never intended to mislead or lead someone on

sometimes it is difficult to balance that anxiety

once we meet for first time then i am ok
