I suppose its a pathological liberal trait to not be able to see anything good that comes from a person or policy simply because they don't like the person or the policy.

Actually, you're almost there.

There are people that don't like certain policies ... let's say: "tax cuts", for example. They HATE tax cuts. The real problem is: the only tool in their bag is to dehumanize, when they have no good counter-argument.

They start believing the lies of moral repugnance that they're spreading and that affects how they start to perceive the people they're defaming.

I think it was Andrew Klavan who said it best: "The Right thinks the Left is wrong. The Left thinks the Right is evil."

It's an entire mind-set; actually, I'd go so far as a pathology.

Spot on.

Personally I LOVE tax cuts. I am hoping some people who support tax cuts take over Congress in 2018 and repeal this Republican tax increase bill before my taxes go up.

Just sayin'

What real conservatives understand is that there has been no tax cut. The taxes owed for the ever increasing borrowing, just kicked down the road to the next generations.

Taxes are not cut until spending is cut.

The multiple and munificent "Bombs, not food" programs are going to starve, I can tell you that much.

Okay, actually not.

Armaments expense the last thing to get cut, as always.

Like in the schools.

When in budget cut mode, bubye French and cello, while aggression-training sports programs remain safe.

Broad lesson for all concerned.

And all of the RWNJs rejoiced, having finally achieved their goal of making everyone realize just how stupid so many Americans are.

I think it's a myth that you are fed that the world is laughing. Trump has alot of supporters outside of US too. I've met people of all nationalities that feel Trump made sense. Although his execution is not very diplomatic, which everyone will acknowledge.

Also, when George Bush was President. People were saying the same thing. That the world is laughing at US President.

But on the other hand. Would you be friends with Trump Supporters? What is your social circle?

I think Lefties stick to Lefties. So that's the only view you got.

Bush was often unintentionally funny, see all the "Bushism of the day" pages like

Trump is not funny. Any laughter is not based on any entertainment qualities but because he is an embarrassment and his mental capabilities are questionable. This of course is shared by certain admirers of similar mental disposition outside the US as demonstrated here again and again.

I would have thought the "year the world laughed at the US" would have been 2013; specifically 21 AUG of that year.

Most people don't find chemical attacks to be funny.
Or blame them on Obama because they are desperately trying to pretend he's a bad leader.

You will always tell yourself this, but if you were capable of being honest with yourself, you would realize that this has nothing to do with left/right and everything to do with the fact that people like you were dumb enough to make a reality TV star president.

Where in the article did it even mention any of the usual GOP bullshit?
Where did it bring up the American right?

You think people voted for Trump because they support tax cuts for the rich???

Why is this written in the past tense? Is there a suggestion that the rest of the world has stopped laughing? I can assure you this is not the case ...

No doubt, he's got that Rumsfeld-shaking-hands-with-Saddam blown-up pic as a poster in his bedroom.

"He knew."

We dealt with the guy for decades, sold him all this anthrax, but we had NO IDEA!

"It came as quite a surprise that he didn't have what we sold him anymore, which forced us to fabricate another premise for invasion."

Or even recently Trump doing the Saudi sword dance.

Getting onto Trump and immigration, it`s a case of same shit, different day.

You keep saying this. Why you think you're the one twue definer of conservatism, I don't know. Standing by your assertion means we will never ever cut taxes. Taxes will only continue to go up and up because spending is only going to keep going up and up.
