Well, the CDC didn't reverse anything she said. Someone at the CDC is just being cautious with their words but the reporter had to print something. It's more of your "story twisting a story twisted by you" nonsense MJ already called you on. So even if there is a 90% less chance of infection for someone who has been properly vaccinated. Still pretty good odds. And Google is telling me 69.1% of the US is fully vaccinated, with 80.9% having at least one dose. So there is much less chance for me to get infected. I like it.
