I use a Mac. I've tried using both Safari and Chrome, and cannot find any tools that will allows me to set a background color.

I can set the font color. I can highlight what I've written. But just a default background color? Nope. I've seen other people do it, but I have no idea if this just works on certain browsers or if there's a trick I'm missing.

I tried doing it in the test area, but that only affect the font, not the background. The help file associated with posting entries on this forum only addresses font color, not background color. I could find no information on this in the general help files on CollarSpace.

Help? Pretty please?

I don't think the forum lets you change background color. At least, I've never seen it here.

You are likely trying to change the background color on your Collarspace profile, which I have seen. Pretty sure it's just basic html. There should be a webpage that has all that info somewhere. I dunno, I don't look at my profile enough to care, and some of the background colors make it hard to read the actual profiles, and some background colors are just obnoxious.

Good news: someone tipped me off about setting the journal background! It never occured to me to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the "Edit Journal" section.

They fixed journals?

Last I checked, they didn't work. Mind you, this was a few years ago.

I guess they fixed that before they brought back the forums, though I wasn't aware that there was a problem with the journal app.

I think that the volunteer system is really helping around here: the turnaround on getting profiles approved is much shorter: hours rather than months now.
