Yup. Useful idiots blindly repeat elitist matra every time they post a link to Breitbart.
But someone's post, even if it is a response to someone else. So, other members that may eventually see these posts will see how we all behave and may even formulate an opinion of us based on that behavior. Just sayin'.
Speaking of low opinions, back to the thread.
I think most of us want and need an actual change, and we just aren't getting it with these new politicians. Even Republican voters. It's just more of the same, whatever the party. But we need actual solutions and we haven't gotten them, so very few of us are content with our leaders.
I was puzzled by Biden's low approval rate, until I realized that. Going back to the Obama era only allows for a Trump era again. Both parties try to blame the other, but both have a shared duty to their constituents,and both parties are seen as failures.
For every Republican named in wrongdoing, it's "what about" the Democrat doing the same thing, and vice versa. Even if the comparison doesn't even make sense, or is total BS.
Both parties have to do better. Both. Both parties have to call out and remove their own bad apples, and start getting things done. As a registered Democrat, I try to hold my own elected officials accountable, and I will even speak in favor of Republican politicians when they do something I like, or at least think was necessary.
But, exactly what has the GOP lead House even done yet? What's to approve or disapprove of? And in this country's history, has any House ever "saved the world" by this point?
